Apparently Winslow wasn't ready to let this Twitter fight end, sending another tweet at Cromartie on Thursday:
"@CRO31 U wish you were a Dad. Learn your kids names.

When asked about the incident, the Jets CB declined to comment and instead quoted Marshawn Lynch:

Before the argument actually began, Winslow tweeted disapproval of Cromartie:
"Cromartie is one of the biggest posers i have ever seen and played against. Prolly the last guy I would take down an alley with me. #NFL
— Kellen Winslow Jr. (@KellenWinslowJr) June 10, 2015"
He then followed up with another tweet, which would eventually engage Cromartie in the conversation:
"Worry about yourself cro. Stop talkin. Your not even close to the best. You got bad feet and are scared to jam. #NFL
— Kellen Winslow Jr. (@KellenWinslowJr) June 10, 2015"
The cornerback responded with some fighting words:
Cromartie's Target question is a reference to a 2014 incident where Winslow was accused of masturbating in the parking lot of the department store.
To which Winslow then called for an actual fight:
"@CRO31 we should get in the ring.
— Kellen Winslow Jr. (@KellenWinslowJr) June 10, 2015"
Cromartie hasn't responded to Winslow's proposition, but the exchange alone was heated enough.
