Is Jay Cutler the reason Chicago sports fans should be screaming? Should Chicago fans be proud to be Chicago sports fans for the first time since the Jordan era? I really think that we should be proud to have Jay Cutler because of how much he has symbolized over the past week.

Jay Cutler has indirectly helped Chicago in a lot of ways. First of all, he has saved the Bears from another bad season. Because of the trade for Cutler, the Bears seem to be the best team in the NFC North.

Also, the trade for Cutler has made the Bears a top contender for an NFC championship. In addition, Cutler is probably going to get one other big name wide receiver to come to Chicago, or maybe make one rookie wide receiver that the Bears draft into a star.

Cutler has also been helping out other teams in Chicago as well. The Bulls have been playing some amazing basketball since Cutler's arrival. They are 4-0, averaging about 108 points per game while picking up a quality win over a great 76ers team.

With Cutler's arrival, the Bulls seem to be also picking up the sixth seed over the 76ers, going from a 8th to a 6th seed in one week .

An example of the Chicago Bulls success with Cutler is their individual play. Ben Gordon has been averaging 24.5 points a game while Derrick Rose is averaging 18 points and 6.5 assist a game since Cutlers arrival.

The Blackhawks are also a team benefiting from Cutler. Since Cutler has been here, they have gone 5-1 with the only loss coming in overtime. The Blackhawks have also been playing like a team ready to make a run at the Stanley Cup with two quality wins over the Red Wings. With Cutler's arrival, the Blackhawks have been playing like a fierce team with the 4th seed in the playoffs.

The last thing Cutler can help Chicago with is the Olympics. As a fellow Chicagoan, I feel as if we should be trying our best to get the Olympics in this magnificent city.

Cutler's arrival has boosted up my self-esteem and has brought me faith in Chicago sports. He has given Bears fans more faith in their team, and has given me a sense that winning should be the number one priority; and that should include winning to get the Olympics in this city.

Over the past week, all I've heard from Chicago radio stations are positive things, and that gets me excited to hopefully get the Olympics here in Chicago.

The finishing touch to Cutler's arrival will hopefully be an NBA championship, a Stanley Cup, a Super Bowl, and lastly the Olympics in 2016.

From learning about what has happened in this crazy week of Chicago sports, I have concluded that the Jay Cutler trade has been the best thing that has ever happened to Chicago sports since Michael Jordan was here.

Cutler is probably the one player in the country making an impact in mostly all sports in a big city like Chicago. He is a great player and a great contributor to all of Chicago sports.
