2012 NFL Mock Draft: Ideal Homes for First-Round Studs
Some players are just perfect fits in specific NFL cities.
Calvin Johnson and Detroit—the city known for wide receiver busts. He was meant to change that perception.
How about Aaron Rodgers, a guy who fell in the draft and sat behind a legend? His Favreian gun-slinger mentality and swagger became ideal for the offensively dynamic Green Bay Packers.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Which teams offer the perfect homes for the best in the 2012 NFL draft class?
2012 NFL Mock Draft (Final Pre-Draft Update)
1. Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
For a team that's at the dawn of their reconstruction, Andrew Luck's the absolute perfect building block. He's the most polished and NFL-ready quarterback to enter the league since Peyton Manning.
2. Washington Redskins (trade with St. Louis Rams): Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
3. Minnesota Vikings: Matt Kalil, OT, Southern California
4. Cleveland Browns: Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
I'm not the biggest advocate of running backs going in the first round, but Richardson represents the exception. He's perfect for the Browns, who have struggled offensively. Richardson will alleviate pressure from Colt McCoy and the passing game and blend into the hard-nosed, ultra-physical AFC North.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
6. St. Louis Rams (trade with Washington Redskins): Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
8. Miami Dolphins: Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
9. Carolina Panthers: Fletcher Cox, DL, Mississippi State
10. Buffalo Bills: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
The Bills need a big-play receiver who can emerge as a true, game-changing No. 1 wideout. Floyd undoubtedly has that ability and will easily be able to acclimate himself to the cold-weather cities of the AFC East.
With Chan Gailey featuring the passing game and wanting to add more of a downfield threat, Floyd's the best option for Buffalo.
11. Kansas City Chiefs: Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College
12. Seattle Seahawks: Nick Perry, DE, Southern California
13. Arizona Cardinals: David DeCastro, G, Stanford
14. Dallas Cowboys: Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama
15. Philadelphia Eagles: Michael Brockers, DL, LSU
16. New York Jets: Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa
17. Cincinnati Bengals: Melvin Ingram, DE/OLB, South Carolina
Mike Zimmer is one of the more creative and sadly underrated defensive coordinators in football. Ingram is arguably the defensive Robert Griffin III because of his special athleticism.
A match made in heaven—or hell, for quarterbacks and offensive coordinators attempting to decipher what Ingram's going to do on each snap.
18. San Diego Chargers: Courtney Upshaw, DE/OLB, Alabama
19. Chicago Bears: Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina
20. Tennessee Titans: Zach Brown, LB, North Carolina
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina
22. Cleveland Browns (from Atlanta): Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
23. Detroit Lions: Cordy Glenn, OL, Georgia
24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Dont'a Hightower, ILB, Alabama
When you think Steelers, you think defense. More specifically, you think linebackers.
There's not a more imposing, pain-inflicting, thumping linebacker in this class than Hightower.
Doesn't he belong in a Steelers uniform?
25. Denver Broncos: Devon Still, DT, Penn State
26. Houston Texans: Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford
27. New England Patriots (from New Orleans): Mark Barron, SS, Alabama
28. Green Bay Packers: Andre Branch, DE/OLB, Clemson
29. Baltimore Ravens: Chandler Jones, DE, Syracuse
30. San Francisco 49ers: Kevin Zeitler, G, Wisconsin
31. New England Patriots: Whitney Mercilus, DE, Illinois
32. New York Giants, Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford
