Week 3 of the Fantasy Football season is officially in the books, and for many of us (read: me) it’s time to take a long look in the mirror and figure out where it all went wrong.

It’s still early in the season and there’s plenty of time to turn this ship around, so let’s focus on five WR’s who are ready to explode in Week 4 and who can help us climb out of the fantasy basement.

5. Denarius Moore

Moore has shown flashes of brilliance over the past two weeks and is proving to be one of the most talented players on the Raiders roster.

Jacoby Ford is returning from injury soon, but that’s a somewhat laughable phrase to be concerned about. Moore obviously is much more talented than Ford and will get his targets.

Look him for to explode against a Patriots defense that has given up huge numbers in all three of their games.

Prediction – 7 catches for 155 yards and a TD

4. Julio Jones

Jones has been solid so far, but he’s yet to have his Miles Austin-esqe coming-out party. Look for that to happen this week when the Falcons match up against the Seahawks.

Jones had his first 100-yard receiving game last week, but I expect him to go for 100 yards and two touchdowns this week as Atlanta has slowly been developing that offense that everyone feared during the offseason.

Prediction – 6 catches for 138 yards and 2 TDs

3. DeSean Jackson

DeSean Jackson has barely been a factor in the past two Eagles games, but we knew he was a streaky player when the season started.

Look for this to be his next big game against a 49ers defense that was made to look better than they actually are against a weak Bengals offense last week.

Look for Jackson to explode with at least 80 yards and a touchdown (maybe on the same play) against the 49ers.

Prediction – 4 catches for 121 yards and a TD

2. Andre Caldwell

Andre Caldwell looked great in limited time last week. The Bengals have suffered some losses to their receiving corps and Caldwell is the key player to watch in that slot receiver spot.

Look for Dalton to look in on Caldwell early and often against a Bills team that allowed over 500 yards passing to Tom Brady earlier in the year and over 300 yards passing to Jason Campbell last week.

Prediction – 11 catches for 123 yards and a TD

1. Sidney Rice

Rice debuted for the Seahawks in Week 3 by putting up solid numbers with eight receptions and 109 yards. I look for those numbers to increase in Week 4 as the Seahawks will likely be playing from behind all game.

Rice has as much talent as anyone at the wide receiver position in the NFL, and his 10 targets last week proved that Tarvaris Jackson will be looking for him.

Prediction – 12 catches 165 yards 2 Td’s
