NFL Picks Week 1: Predicting Winner for Each AFC East Matchup
The AFC East will be one of the most contested division in the NFL, so every week is like a playoff game for the teams within the division.
Week 1 sees two teams within the division squaring off against each other, one team playing against America's team and the other playing against the surprise team of 2010.
Let's take a look and see how the Week 1 matchups will unfold.

This will be a tough games for the Bills, and as the season progresses, this will be the case for most matchups. The Bills have been a struggling franchise for the last few years, and this year will be no different.
The Bills have improved their defense and are starting to head in the right direction, but they still have quite a few holes in their team.
When they come up against the Chiefs Week 1, there will be a lot problems for the Bills. Buffalo is outmatched in the quarterback position, as well as running back, receiver and most other skill positions. The Bills do have a strong pass defense, but that is about all they have going for them in 2011.
Look for the Bills to fall to the Chiefs 31-14 and go into Week 2 looking for a better result.

The Jets are poised for a big season this year, and the season will start off on a positive note Week 1. Year after year, the Cowboys are one of the most overrated teams and this year will be no different.
I look for the Jets to put the Cowboys in their place and send them on the way to another disappointing season. Mark Sanchez will have a big game against the Cowboys' porous pass defense, and Shonn Green will have a field day as well.
The Jets defense will win the battle in the trenches and not give Tony Romo any holes to throw into. Look for Gang Green to make a statement win 27-10 in the battle of the Ryan Brothers.
New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins
This will be a typical Week 1 for the Patriots.
Their defense will have 3-4 turnovers forced and score a touchdown either on defense or special teams. Tom Brady will throw for over 300 yards and two touchdowns, and the Patriots will cruise to victory.
For the Dolphins, this will be a long year. They lost out on Kyle Orton and will struggle on the offense and at their skill positions and in the trenches. This will be a long season for the Dolphins as well, starting with a 35-10 loss to the Pats.
