Happy Madden Day!  Today is the day that Madden 2012 hits the shelves, so I hope you pre-ordered your copy.  This year the coveted 100 has evaded all quarterbacks.

So you may ask, who are the best quarterbacks.  Well good thing you came here, because I will be going over the best 10 quarterbacks in this year's Madden 2012.

10: Joe Flacco, 88 Overall

Joe-flacco_display_image

It was a tough pick between Joe Flacco and Matt Schaub for my 10th spot, but with Flacco's speed at 73 and throw on the run at 76, compared to Schaubs 62 and 44 respectively, my choice was made for me.

With a rating of 88 overall, Flacco's other ratings are 96 throw power and 84 throw accuracy—88 short, 86 middle and 78 deep.  Flacco has some good targets, with Anquan Boldin and Ray Rice.

So at 88, Flacco is my 10th rated Madden quarterback.

9: Tony Romo, 88 Overall

Tony Romo is also rated an 88 overall, but with the weapons of Jason Witten, Miles Austin, Dez Bryant and Felix Jones, he is my ninth rated Madden quarterback.

Romo has 73 speed, 91 throw power and 86 throwing accuracy to go along with 89, 85 and 82 for short, middle and deep accuracy, respectively.  He also has a great 87 throwing on the run rating.

So with these pretty solid ratings, Romo is my ninth rated quarterback.

8: Matt Ryan, 90 Overall

With a shocking rating of 90, Matt Ryan is my eighth rated quarterback.  He has a couple of great pass catching weapons with Roddy White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez.

Matt Ryan's speed is pretty slow at 65, but he makes up for it with an 89 throw power and accuracy.  He also has 90, 85 and 88 short, middle and deep accuracy, to go with an 87 awareness.

Pretty solid numbers, and he is my eighth rated quarterback.

7: Michael Vick, 93 Overall

If you love running quarterbacks, Michael Vick is God.  He will gash defenses with his running back 91 speed, 95 acceleration and 94 agility.  His throw on the run is also a sick 98.

His throw power is 96 and accuracy is 85 to go with 86, 87 and 84 short, middle and deep accuracy.

If you love to run and roll out with your quarterback, Vick is your man, but he is the seventh rated quarterback for Madden 2012.

6: Ben Roethlisberger, 94 Overall

Ben Roethlisberger is a beast and is tough to bring down.  With his 85 strength he will shake off oncoming players, and then roll out with his 97 throw on the run to gun it to either Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown or Hines Ward.

He also has a 94 throw power and 89 throw accuracy with a 89, 88 and 87 short, middle, and deep ball to go with a 90 play action.

Ben Roeth will tear it up for you in Madden and he is my sixth rated quarterback.

5: Drew Brees, 96 Overall

10

Drew Brees finally gets to get rid of his cover jinx and leap into the top five quarterbacks for Madden 2012.  He has an astounding 99 overall for short accuracy.  He also has an 88 throw power and 96 overall accuracy, with 92 and 85 middle and deep accuracy.

These numbers are great and he totals out at 96. With Marques Colston, Lance Moore and beastly Jimmy Graham to throw to, he wont disappoint for the number five quarterback in my Madden ratings.

4: Phillip Rivers, 96 Overall

Phillip Rivers is one tough dude according to Madden with a 98 overall and a 97 injury, so he will be a mainstay and wont get hurt for you.  He also has a great 94 awareness to go with his 90 and 96 throw power and accuracy.

With a 96, 95 and 93 short, middle and deep accuracy you will pretty much be money on every pass, but make sure its not on the run because he only has a 55 throw on the run.  He has great weapons, with Antonio Gates rated a 99 to go with Vincent Jackson and Malcolm Floyd.

He is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and is definitely a top four Madden quarterback.

3: Aaron Rodgers 98, Overall

Aaron Rodgers is almost flawless at 98 overall, and with Greg Jennings, JerMichael Finley and Donald Driver to throw too, he wont disappoint.

He has a 95 throwing power and 92 throwing accuracy to go with his 93, 93 and 89 short, middle and deep accuracy.  He also has a great 93 throw on the run, so he's really Michael Vick-plus.

Rodgers could be No. 1 on this list, but he is my number three rated Madden quarterback.

2: Peyton Manning, 98 Overall

Peyton Manning is just a nasty quarterback.  With his 98 overall he is the second rated quarterback in Madden.  He will just sit in the pocket and pick you apart with his 96 throwing accuracy and 94 throw power.

He also is rated 99 in three categories: awareness, injury and stamina.  In addition, he has a 95 play action and 96, 92 and 86 short, middle and deep accuracy.

Manning has great weapons with Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, Austin Collie, Dallas Clark and Jacob Tamme, and he is my second rated Madden quarterback.

1: Tom Brady, 99 Overall

Tombradymadden_display_image_display_image

Just as you may have guessed, Tom Brady is the No. 1 rated Madden quarterback.  With a 99 overall, you cant complain about anything Brady has to offer.

With a 98 awareness, 95 toughness and 99 stamina, he is going to be a very reliable Madden quarterback.  He also has a nasty 95 and 97 power and accuracy with a 98, 96 and 89 short, middle and deep accuracy.

His only weakness is his 58 speed and 51 throw on the run, so if you like to roll out, Brady is not for you. But if you just want to sit back and destroy defenses, Brady is gold.

So there ya go, now go grab your copy of Madden 2012 and try out all of the top 10 quarterbacks.
