Chad Ochocinco Dealt to New England Patriots

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco has been dealt to the New England Patriots.

This feels like deja-vu all over again.

In 2007, Randy Moss was dealt to the New England Patriots for a fourth-round draft pick. In 2011, Chad Ochocinco gets dealt in exchange for a late draft pick in 2012 and another late pick in 2013. The story however, remains the same: An aging, controversial receiver is looking for his last chance at a Super Bowl ring. 

The trade is perfect.

The Patriots offense has gotten by with simple dinking and dunking in previous seasons after blowing away the record books in 2008.

Enter Chad Ochocinco.

The 33-year-old receiver can provide the deep-threat ability that was missing from the Patriots offense after Randy Moss apparently checked out from New England this past season before being traded back home to Minnesota. And, with his demotion to the No. 2 receiver in Cincinnati, Ochocinco comes to New England hungry to earn his starting role again.

Combine that with a strong, veteran locker room and Bill Belichick's discipline, and the trade once again looks perfect.

Ochocinco gets his last chance to win, and the Patriots get a new toy for Tom Brady to play with.

However, this may mean that Chad Ochocinco will have to shut down his Twitter.

"God is so good," he tweeted after the trade was made official.

Just a small price to pay if you want to win.
