Life without the NFL just doesn’t seem right.

The obvious void we would have to fill would be on Sunday afternoons, but don’t underestimate the role the NFL has played in TV and advertising.

There used to be nothing better than for an NFL player to endorse your product, and hopefully things will get straightened out so we can once again see our favorite players on the tube.

Some of the funniest commercials I have seen have featured football personalities, but also some of the most iconic and memorable ones as well.

You know you have a good commercial when it sticks with you.

Here are 10 commercials featuring football personalities that have stuck with me:

10. It's Good to Have a Ring

The day Joe Buck, Frank Caliendo and Jay Glazer are high rollers is the day I give up on this world.

This commercial is accurate to the T.

9. Best Fans on the Planet

This is just epic.

8. Brett Favre, Wranglers

There is nothing that says blue jeans more than Brett Favre playing football with a bunch of actors and driving a truck with a green screen behind him.

In all fairness, this is an all-time legend of a commercial when it comes to NFL personalities.

Also in all fairness, Favre is an all-time legend himself.

7. Tony Romo, Pepsi

If only Romo was double-sized when he learned how to hold and set field goals...

6. Peyton Manning and Erin Andrews, Sony

To be honest, Justin Timberlake really makes this commercial funny.

But any commercial with Erin Andrews in it will get my attention.

5. Donovan McNabb, Campbell's Soup

The worst part about this is that I'm pretty sure this isn't even McNabb's momma!

I'm also pretty sure he doesn't know how to run Washington's two-minute offense...

4. Peyton Manning, Sprint

Manning is probably the most marketable player in the NFL.

He is also incredible with commercials!

Lose the stache, though, man...

3. John Madden, Tough Actin' Tinactin

John Madden certainly knew how to take care of athlete's foot.

BOOM!

2. Troy Polamalu, Head & Shoulders

Try watching this without laughing every time his hair grows!

I dare you to...

Hint: It's impossible.

1. Brett Favre, Sears

I wonder if they taught him how to send picture messages on his phone while shooting this commercial...
