Kansas City Chiefs' Mike Vrabel Arrested for Stealing
In case you guys didn't know, we're in a lockout. And because we're in a lockout, players have tons of time on their hands. Too much time, even. So much time, they'll start causing trouble.
Well, this principle continues to hold true. Mike Vrabel—someone you wouldn't think would hurt a fly—was arrested for stealing in a casino in Indiana, according to ESPN. No one knows what the dude stole, but whatever it was, it must have been important, considering they labeled it a Class-D felony in Indiana.
Even worse? Mike Vrabel is representing the players in the antitrust lawsuit against the NFL.

You can blame personal failure for this one. You can say that, as a responsible adult, Vrabel should have known what the hell he was thinking.
But what you cannot say is that this lockout had nothing to do with this crime. Because while it was Vrabel who committed the crime, it could have been avoided had he been busy doing something else. Something else like, oh, you know, reporting to his team's facilities to further immerse himself within the Chiefs' defense.
Football is more than just an income for these players. It's a way to pass by the time, and it's why countless clubs are created especially for youngsters in order to keep them off the streets.
Either way, Vrabel did what he did and, if convicted, could face up to three years in prison.
What a shame.
