Dallas Cowboys (Cowboys Schedule)
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Indianapolis Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game sixth - TDs Allowed T-sixth
Indianapolis Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 29th – TDs Allowed T-28th
Dallas Offensive Cast
Jon Kitna (QB Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 130/200 – for 1,536 yards and 10 TDs
The most passing TDs the Colts have surrendered in a game this year is two while only once has a QB tossed up more than 300 yards against them. Basically, Kitna isn’t the greatest bet for your fantasy team this week.
Marion Barber (RB Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 102 carries for 313 yards and three TDs || 11 receptions for 49 yards and no TDs
Barber is likely to sit this one out with a calf injury.
Felix Jones (RB Week 13 Ranking: No. 19)
2010 Season: 111 carries for 448 yards and no TDs || 37 receptions for 346 yards and one TD
With Barber likely out this week, Jones will have a chance for the game of his life against this sorry-ass Colts rush D. Tashard Choice will steal some carries, but Felix should be able to come up with a pretty good fantasy week regardless.
Tashard Choice (RB Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 14 carries for 38 yards and one TD || Nine receptions for 45 yards and no TDs
Choice will likely get a good 10 carries in this one. Hip hip, hooray!
Miles Austin (WR Week 13 Ranking: No. 30)
2010 Season: 52 receptions for 757 yards and five TDs
Austin showed that he can score in a variety of ways last week with a 60-yard reverse run for a TD against the Saints. The ‘Boys might try that one out again this weekend with the Colts rush D being as bad as they are.
Dez Bryant (WR Week 13 Ranking: No. 24)
2010 Season: 44 receptions for 547 yards and six TDs
Dez was pretty much the forgotten man on Thanksgiving as Kitna’s “favorite target” had zero catches on the day. Don’t worry too much about it though, as Dez is another one of those players who can score from pretty much anywhere on the field.
Roy Williams (WR Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 32 receptions for 469 yards and five TDs
Roy stepped up to collect five receptions for 83 yards last week, which was actually just one less catch and three more yards than his previous five weeks combined!
Jason Witten (TE Week 13 Ranking: No. 15)
2010 Season: 60 receptions for 660 yards and three TDs
Witten put up a sweet 10-catch, 99-yard effort against the Saints last week, but don’t expect numbers anywhere close to that against a Colts D that has allowed the second fewest fantasy points to tight ends this year.
Indianapolis Colts (Colts Schedule)
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Dallas Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 23rd - TDs Allowed T-30th
Dallas Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 19th – TDs Allowed T-13th
Indianapolis Offensive Cast
Peyton Manning (QB Week 13 Ranking: No. 5)
2010 Season: 317/486 – for 3,344 yards and 22 TDs
Manning should be able to have his way with this Dallas pass D, regardless of which receivers are healthy or not. Over the last six games, the Cowboys have given up an average of 311.5 passing yards and 2.7 TDs to opposing QBs, numbers which Manning shouldn’t have a problem reaching this weekend.
Joseph Addai (RB Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 93 carries for 406 yards and three TDs || 18 receptions for 118 yards and no TDs
Addai is starting to step up his practice schedule, but it looks like he’ll be sitting out for at least one more week.
Mike Hart (RB Week 13 Ranking: No. 24)
2010 Season: 38 carries for 177 yards and one TD || Four receptions for 24 yards and noTDs
Hart is back practicing in full and if he ends up being completely healthy, he just might overtake Donald Brown for lead-back honors this weekend. Check the news coming out of the Colts camp at www.pyromaniac.com or www.ffpharmacy.com to see which one of these players you should fit into your lineup.
Donald Brown (RB Week 13 Ranking: No. 24)
2010 Season: 87 carries for 289 yards and one TD || 15 receptions for 173 yards and no TDs
If Hart isn’t all the way back, Brown will get another shot to prove himself. If Hart does come back, he’ll still get some playing time this weekend, but probably not enough to be worth a start.
Javarris James (RB Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 22 carries for 45 yards and three TDs || Seven receptions for 46 yards and no TDs
James will get the goal-line carries again this week only if Hart ends up sitting out.
Reggie Wayne (WR Week 13 Ranking: No. 7)
2010 Season: 76 receptions for 907 yards and four TDs
Wayne could see a ton of targets in this one as the Cowboys pass D is one of the worst in the league. He’s had a few rough games over the past five weeks, but this one should be able to break him out of his slump.
Pierre Garcon (WR Week 13 Ranking: No. 35)
2010 Season: 38 receptions for 478 yards and one TD
Garcon has caught five balls each of the last three weeks, and it wouldn’t shock me to see even more than that this weekend. The Cowboys hand out TD receptions like shots on a 21st birthday, so be sure not to miss out on the party come Sunday.
Blair White (WR Week 13 Ranking: No. 28)
2010 Season: 18 receptions for 184 yards and four TDs
If Collie plays, sit The Blair White Project and get Austin in there. If Collie sits, pick up the portable camera and get it rollin’. Again, check the news coming out of the Colts camp this week at either Pyro or the FFPharmacy to find out what you should do.
Austin Collie (WR Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)
2010 Season: 50 receptions for 562 yards and six TDs
Follow the instructions for The Blair White Project and you’ll be fine here.
Jacob Tamme (TE Week 13 Ranking: No. 1)
2010 Season: 38 receptions for 369 yards and three TDs
The Cowboys actually do pretty well at covering the tight end, but tight ends aren’t the same animal with Peyton Manning at the helm as they are with other teams. Play him at all costs.
