The Denver Broncos will be without Knowshon Moreno this weekend against the Indianapolis Colts. Add that to a list of injuries the Broncos have suffered this year.

Moreno injured his left hamstring during practice which should be a big concern for Bronco fans. This hamstring injury is different from the one that made him miss most of training camp this offseason.

The Broncos also may be without All-World cornerback Champ Bailey as well and fellow cornerback Andre Goodman, but they are a game time decision. Not exactly what you want to hear when you are about to face All-Universe quarterback Peyton Manning.

The loss of Moreno could be a big issue for the Broncos, but they do have the services of newly acquired back Laurence Maroney and veteran back Correll Buckhalter.

Maroney was acquired via a trade with Josh McDaniels former team the New England Patriots and Correll Buckhalter is also a good option but may not be the best choice to carry the load.

Maroney may be the featured back against the Colts as he has worked with McDaniels before and the Broncos made that move for reasons like this.

The Broncos will be playing with a heavy heart on Sunday after the death of teammate, Kenny McKinley.

They are currently 1-1 and face a tough test at home and the injuries they've suffered at crucial positions will hurt the Broncos.

After losing Elvis Dumervil for the season and LenDale White, you have to wonder if it's something the Broncos are doing that are causing these injuries or if it is just a case of tough luck.

Either way the timing of these injuries could not come at a worse time as the Broncos schedule enters a very crucial stretch early in the season.
