The Seattle front office had admitted it to be true, and while talks aren't very advanced, it looks like the possibility of Jackson leaving San Diego is a very real one.
The Chargers reportedly have the distinct feeling that Jackson has no intentions of staying with the Chargers, and with the Seahawks' average receiving corps, a long-term deal could be in the works to bring Jackson's big-play abilities to Seattle.
Jackson can be had extremely late in drafts currently, as he's slated to serve a three-game suspension to start the season, and all signs have pointed to him sitting out the season if he's stuck in San Diego.
In addition to the Seahawks, who have been pondering adding a big name receiver all offseason, we could realistically view the following teams as potential trade partners:
All of these teams either have a glaring hole/need at receiver, could use a substantial upgrade at the position, or have injury issues that could be resolved by the addition of a star receiver.
Jackson's fantasy stock would immediately rise if he gets a new deal and/or is traded, so stay tuned.
