Dallas Cowboys : Prediction 1 st Place 10-6 - The defending champion, Cowboys, have a ton of talent coming back to this team, and as the defending champs of the division, there is little reason to believe that they won’t be able to make a repeat trip into the playoffs. The offense added another weapon this year in the draft with WR Dez Bryant, from Oklahoma State, to take pressure off WR Miles Austin, something WR Roy Williams couldn't do. Old reliable TE Jason Witten and the young receiving core could make up a high octane passing attack. The defense ranked second in the NFL in 2009, in terms of points per game, and if that keeps up, Coach Phillips will end up with another year on his contract, should they advance deep into the playoffs.

New York Giants : Prediction 2 nd Place NFC East 9-7 - The Giants offense was a surprise in 2009, as they found a way to make their offense fire quite well in spite of the fact that a 1,000 yard rusher and the team’s top three receiving threats from 2008 were no longer playing for them. New stars emerged in the form of WR Steve Smith, who caught 107 passes, but the real accolades go to QB Eli Manning, who is rounding into one of the top signal callers in the NFL. If the defense can get its act together with new defensive coordinator, Perry Fewell, this could be a very dangerous squad, and the addition of DE Jason Pierre-Paul out of South Florida as a rookie coming in could be another weapon for teams to watch out for with the fierce pass rush the Giants are sure to display.

Philadelphia Eagles : Prediction 3 rd Place – 9-7 - Goodbye Donovan McNabb and hello QB Kevin Kolb. The former second round draft pick out of Houston has huge expectations to live up to, as Eagles fans aren’t going to quietly accept a season of rebuilding in spite of the fact that the secondary has been rebuilt from just three years ago and the offense is depleted without Westbrook and Mcnabb. This is a critical season for Coach Reid as well, since the call on Kolb could make or break the end of his career as a coach for the Eagles. The Eagles have a tough schedule to boot, and the end result is probably going to be a huge step back from the playoff years of recent memory.

Washington Redskins : Prediction 4 th Place – 6-10 – The Eagles loss might just be Skins gain. The Redskins acquired QB Donovan McNabb in the offseason and cut ties with starter QB Jason Campbell in the process. The Skins also brought in Mike Shanahan to run the team, who is back after a year off following his dismissal from the Denver Broncos. Of course, with coaching changes comes new schemes, as Shanahan prefers a 3-4 style of play over a 4-3 on defense. DT Albert Haynesworth isn’t quite on board with this, as he and the team are in a huge dispute over the schematics being used. Chaos anyone? Even though it’s hard to picture how the Redskins can be any worse than they were last year, they clearly aren’t a fantastic team yet either. One thing is for certain though, and that’s that this should be a fun team to keep your eye on one way or the other.
