JaMarcus Russell was released by the Oakland Raiders on May 6th. The First pick in the 2007 NFL draft.

The Buffalo Bills could be a team to take a look at Russell since they do not have a franchise quarterback. The Bills have Edwards and Brohm to be possible starters this season with Fitzpatrick as the backup. Edwards is injury-pron getting injured the last two seasons with concussions. Brohm looks like he will be given a good opportunity this season to fight for the starting job.

JaMarcus Russell has size which none of Buffalo's Quarterback do. Russell is 6'6 and 260 pounds. Trent Edwards is 6'4 and 231 pounds a lot smaller than Russell.

The Oakland Raiders have had trouble with their offensive line last season they were ranked 30th, Wide receiver is something they have to add, They are undecided at running back between McFadden and Bush, and there defense is not that good to help the stay alive in games. Russell does not have that much help from his team to help him make plays. Russell has been criticized for his bad work ethic, during practice he will walk when he should be jogging like everybody us to the next play. Something he has to improve on if he wants to be a NFL quarterback.

The Buffalo Bills do not have a good offensive line ranked 28th last season better than the Raiders. The Bills have 3 good running backs in Marshawn Lynch,Fred Jackson and C.J Spiller. They have a good wide receiver in Lee Evens and addition of Marcus Easley. There defense is good and kept them alive in games last year and they added to it this year.  But C.J. Spiller is a play maker and can help in the Running and Passing game so it helps gives options. Chan Gailey is known for making quarterbacks good which is needed for any of the Bills quarterbacks. Russell can run when getting pressured on like any other quarterback on the Bills roster.

But Buffalo is a team that plays it safe and the possibly of the Bills get Russell is pretty small.
