McNabb Era Has Begun
With proven names coming to this teams offense, the Redskins are close to having a good offense once again. While points should be scored this team need a good offensive line to help McNabb find time to throw the football. Expect the team to draft a left tackle with their first round pick this season.
Defensive System Changes
New defensive coordinator Jim Haslett is changing the defense to a three - four style and this probably means the team will part ways with defensive end Andre Carter. While Carter is a talented player, he is best suited for a defense that has four down lineman.
One addition that will help this defense is the acquisition of nose tackle Maake Kemoeatu from the Panthers. Kemoeatu missed all of last season with an Achilles injury but he will help the team in 2010. This move allows Albert Haynesworth to move around on the defensive line, when used this way, Haynesworth is very effective.
