2010 NFL Draft: Should the Raiders Take Dan Williams at No. Eight?
In my latest mock draft , I have the Oakland Raiders selecting offensive tackle Trent Williams, due to the fact that neither Ndamukong Suh or Gerald McCoy will still be available.
The next available defensive tackle is Dan Williams, senior from the University of Tennessee. He stands at 6'2" and weighs 327 lbs.
Yes, the Oakland Raiders have many problems on their team.

Offseason Moves for Every Team š
For one, they need a more dominant offensive tackle to protect the quarterback.
An interior lineman is also needed to create better blocking for the run game.
However, one of, if not the biggest issue with the Raiders in the 2009 season was the run defense. In fact, the Raiders were 29th in the league in run defense.
How do Al Davis and the Raiders fix this?
Well, there's the option of trading up to select Ndamukong Suh or Gerald McCoy, but that's going to be a hefty price.
Adding on to the idea of swapping picks, the Raiders would need to supply the other team with a valuable player of their own. Personally, I would advise against trading up.
Another idea that has come up recently is to try and trade for the Washington Redskins' Albert Haynesworth.
Again, I would advise against this, not only is Albert Haynesworth starting to decline, but he comes with an incredibly huge paycheck.
With the Raiders already paying Tommy Kelly millions of dollars, I don't see any point in bringing in Haynesworth.
Now, back to Dan Williams, the chances of Williams being selected before the Raiders are incredibly low.
The Rams may take Suh, but it looks like they're set on taking Bradford, especially after the release of Marc Bulger.
The Lions and Buccaneers may possibly take defensive tackles, which is where Suh and McCoy are selected.
The Redskins and Chiefs have invested a lot in defensive lineman already, such as Haynesworth for the Redskins, and Tyson Jackson and Glenn Dorsey for the Chiefs. I except this is where Okung and Bulaga will be drafted.
The Seahawks may take a defensive tackle, but they have more pressing needs such as safety. This is most likely where Eric Berry will go.
The Browns have Shaun Rogers and do not need another defensive tackle as much as they need a cornerback or defensive end such as Derrick Morgan or Joe Haden.
Once again, that leaves the Oakland Raiders and the No. 8 pick. They can take an offensive lineman such as Trent Williams or settle for a defensive tackle who is not as good, such as Terrence Cody or Cam Thomas. Or they can take Dan Williams early and settle for someone such as Nic Richmond.
Either way, I'm sure it will be a good selection. Both Trent Williams and Dan Williams are great players and will surely impact the team in a very positive manner.
