The Games Everyone Can Watch

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - DECEMBER 11: (NEW YORK DAILIES OUT) Ezekiel Elliott #21 of the Dallas Cowboys in action against the New York Giants on December 11, 2016 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Giants defeated the Cowboys 10-7. (P

Fresh off their second loss of the season, Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys will look to get back on track at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Elliott comes in averaging 107.1 rushing yards per game, while the Bucs defense is 20th in rushing yards allowed. But Tampa Bay has been better against the run of late and will need to keep that up Sunday night. Alan Schechter of the Pewter Plank explained an option for how to do that:

"

Mike Smith is going to have the defense cheat up a bit, and use some eight or nine-man boxes. If they are going to have a chance to overload the Dallas line, extra guys will be the way to do it. Elliott has an ability to hit even a small crease quickly, and it's an ability beyond his years. More guys will give the Bucs a chance.

"

Of course, that could open things up for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott to win the game through the air, something he struggled with in Week 14.

Prescott had his first two-interception game against the New York Giants and needs to get back to the mistake-free football we're used to from him.

Carolina Panthers at Washington Redskins

One year removed from a Super Bowl run, playing spoiler seems like an odd spot for the Carolina Panthers, but that's exactly where they are.

The Washington Redskins come in at 7-5-1, in seventh place and one spot outside the playoff picture. Wins for them are critical at this point.

For the Panthers to get in the way of a postseason berth, reigning MVP Cam Newton has to be much better than his play in recent weeks.

Newton hasn't completed over 50 percent of his passes in a game since Week 10. Over that span, he has a completion percentage of 43 and a passer rating of 71.6.

He may not have to get back to MVP form, but he certainly has to be better than the recent version of himself to top Washington.
