- According to NFL.com's Chris Wesseling, Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network cited a source saying that New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski's hamstring "is not right." Gronkowski has appeared in two games this season and has one reception.

- "Football is my sanctuary," Odell Beckham Jr. said Tuesday, per ESPN's Anita Marks (via ESPN.com news services). "It's where I go to escape. It's where I'm most happy. I'm not having fun anymore."

Louisville Football Will No Longer Permit Student-Athletes to Sign Autographs
- "We decided to take this measure as more of a proactive approach to protect the eligibility of our student-athletes," a Louisville spokesperson said, per ESPN.com's Brett McMurphy. "Furthermore, certain steps needed to be taken to insure that third parties were not benefitting commercially on the signatures of the student-athletes."

- The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that they released starting cornerback Antonio Cromartie. The Colts are 25th in the NFL in passing yards allowed.

Aqib Talib Reportedly Found by Dallas Police to Have Shot Himself
- In June, Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib told the Dallas Police Department that he was shot in the leg. Tuesday, WFAA's Rebecca Lopez reported that the department's investigation led to the determination that Talib accidentally shot himself.
