What to Watch

Given that the Hall of Fame Game will be the first of five preseason contests for both the Packers and Colts, don't expect to see much from the first-stringers.
It wouldn't be surprising if both Packers head coach Mike McCarthy and Colts head coach Chuck Pagano decided to have their veteran starters play one series each to open the game to appeal to the masses of Packers and Colts fans who have descended upon Ohio this weekend.
Fans are hoping to see at least a drive apiece from Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck, two of the best quarterbacks in the league who suffered setbacks in 2015.
Rodgers, who was missing top wideout Jordy Nelson (knee) and whose offensive line was leaky, saw a drop in his total yards, yards per attempt and completion percentage. His name also appeared on the injury report, as he dealt with shoulder and leg issues throughout the year.
Luck, on the other hand, played in only seven games as he worked through a number of injuries, including a lacerated kidney as well as rib, shoulder and abdominal injuries.
However, while the Colts have indicated that Luck will play Sunday, Packers fans may not see Rodgers suit up, as ESPN's Jason Wilde reported.

Rodgers did not practice Thursday, and he did not sound like someone who was gearing up to play when he spoke to reporters, per Wilde.
"If I'm not playing—and I haven't played a ton in the preseason the last couple years—I'm on the headset, I'm listening to the plays, I'm helping [Brett Hundley] out, and I'll be there for Joe [Callahan] and Marquise [Williams] as well," Rodgers said. "I stay dialed into the game."
And if you're wondering who Brett Hundley, Joe Callahan and Marquise Williams are, they're the three quarterbacks competing to back up Rodgers this fall.
Meanwhile, the Packers will have a reunion with Rodgers' former backup, Scott Tolzien, who now sits behind Luck on the Colts' depth chart.
Of course, even though everyone wants to see the starters, the preseason is a time for rookies, undrafted free agents and players on the bubble to make statements.
For the Packers, defensive tackle Kenny Clark looks to be the nose tackle of the future, and he'll likely have a chance to go up against the Colts' first-team offensive line for at least a series.
Packers rookie wideout Trevor Davis and running back John Crockett will look to improve the offense from its 2015 version by adding speed and pass-catching ability out of the backfield, respectively.
For the Colts, undrafted rookie scatback Josh Ferguson will attempt to live up to the preseason hype surrounding him, while sophomore Denzelle Good is trying to win the starting job at right guard.
Whether it's the first-team offense or the scout team on the field, Sunday's contest should be a lively preview for two teams that are likely to make the playoffs this year.
