Derek Wolfe Shown on Video Throwing Punch in Nightclub Fight
Denver Broncos defensive lineman Derek Wolfe was reportedly involved in a nightclub brawl Saturday night in Denver.
TMZ Sports posted a video Tuesday that appears to show Wolfe throwing a haymaker, though the report said it's unclear whether his punch hit anybody because of the chaotic, crowded nature of the scene. Citing witnesses, TMZ also reported the 26-year-old defender got hit in the face with a bottle and left the club bloodied.

The incident occurred inside VIE Nightclub, where witnesses said somebody starting trash-talking with Wolfe's group, according to TMZ Sports. Police were reportedly never called to the club after the fight.
Broncos spokesman Patrick Smyth told Mike Klis of 9News that the issue has already been discussed within the organization: "Derek talked to us on Monday about the issue, and it's been addressed internally."
Wolfe has spent the past four years with the Broncos after Denver selected him in the second round of the 2012 draft. He registered 49 combined tackles and 5.5 sacks across 12 games last season before helping the team capture Super Bowl 50 with a victory over the Carolina Panthers.
Before winning the championship, the Denver front office rewarded the Cincinnati product in January with a four-year contract extension worth $36.7 million, including $17.5 million in guarantees.
Andrew Mason of the Broncos' official website passed along comments from the versatile defensive end at the time about his desire to stay in Denver:
"Last night, I called my agents, and the deal was already on the table, and I said, 'Look, let's just take this deal.' I don't want to leave. I love the city, I love the team, I love the organization, the coaches, my teammates and everything. I couldn't be happier. I'm in a place that I love to be, so why would I leave?
"
Cameron Wolfe of the Denver Post reported that Denver police said there will be no case against Derek Wolfe unless somebody comes forward with a complaint or new evidence, since it was never reported.
It's unclear whether Wolfe will face discipline under the league's personal-conduct policy. "We take a look at any such incident," NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told Cameron Wolfe regarding potential league discipline. "But it doesn’t appear on its face to be something that would lead to league discipline."
Derek Wolfe missed the first four games of last season after being suspended for violating the policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
