2016 NFL Mock Draft: 1st-Round Projections Based on Prospects' Pro Day Results
NFL pro days don't come with a complimentary bracket, which seems all the rage this year, but they do come with a road map detailing the future direction of the league.
These pro days often get laughed off as unnecessary events (after all, the combine slapped everyone in one locale to make it easier on teams) with school-friendly numbers for players on kind running surfaces.
Still, many players need these events for medical reasons or do-overs, and the stock ticker certainly moves to some degree based on a player's situation. With that in mind, here's a look at an updated mock and some of the biggest movers as of late.

Notable Pro Day Risers
4. Dallas Cowboys: Myles Jack, LB, UCLA
One would think UCLA linebacker Myles Jack didn't need a ton of help boosting his stock thanks to the notable hype already around his skill set.
Jack is the definition of a freak athlete, and few can sniff out the run or drop back into coverage on a given play from multiple spots the way he can. What has held back his stock to a degree is a nasty knee injury.
While still on the road to recovery, Jack took to UCLA's pro day and put on a reassuring performance in a few drills. FoxSports.com's Bruce Feldman captured a quote from the man himself and provided some context:
""It was an OK day for me," Jack said, adding that he now has to get his conditioning back since he's been medically cleared but has to return to football shape. "I've got a lot of work to do. It just takes time and patience."
Jack got cleared to do lateral movement last week and wanted to show the NFL scouts in attendance that his knee is fine, he said. Jack didn't run the 40-yard dash Tuesday, but will do so for scouts April 1 back at UCLA. "I'll be fine by then," he said, stopping short of saying he expects to be 100 percent then.
"
It's exactly what the league needed to see from Jack, who qualifies as a top-five pick if everything checks out on the medical side.
The Dallas Cowboys have plenty of ways they could go at No. 4, but passing on a guy at a position of need who has the upside of one of the best players in the league doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Barring a setback, the top five continues to look more and more like a floor for Jack with pro days behind him.
14. Oakland Raiders: Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson
Mackensie Alexander, locked in a fistfight with Jalen Ramsey as the top defensive back in the class, miffed some by taking a pass on the combine.
Maybe Alexander had the right idea, though, because now the NFL world is abuzz about him, and his stock is on the rise after a strong showing at Clemson's pro day.
CBSSports.com's Rob Rang ranked Alexander 14th on his big board and provided some notes about the pro day:
"He showed good speed (4.48, according to one NFL source there) and agility during his pro day on March 10, sealing his position as a first-round talent. Given that he has only two years of experience, Alexander is a surprisingly pro-ready player with an athletic, compact frame more like a running back than most corners.
"
Alexander is smart and physical enough to play any sort of coverage a team throws his way. Some might knock his size at 5'10" and 180 pounds. But flip on the film, and nothing suggests it's an issue. Besides, smaller slot corners are more important than ever these days.
It's a lesson the Oakland Raiders won't forget. The team isn't miserable in the defensive secondary, but losing a player like Charles Woodson is never a good thing. Look for the Raiders to take a proactive approach and get a guy who measures well and backs it up on film.
28. Kansas City Chiefs: Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor

Before his pro day, Baylor's Corey Coleman found himself somewhat lost in a hodgepodge of names behind Laquon Treadwell at wideout.
Not so much anymore.
Coleman exploded when his stock needed it the most, running a downright silly time in the 40-yard dash, according to Bleacher Report's Matt Miller:
Coleman comes in at 5'11" and 194 pounds after catching 74 passes for 1,363 yards and 20 touchdowns last season.
Now, there are a few things to understand here. While Coleman had a gigantic pro day, the comment about friendly numbers rings true. Also not helping the Baylor product is the stat padding the Bears offense produces, so it's not going to stand as a shocker if more than a few wideouts come off the board before him simply based on organizational preference.
Still, at worst, Coleman won't get by the Kansas City Chiefs. Fresh off actually getting production from a wideout via eight touchdowns from Jeremy Maclin in 2015, the Alex Smith-led offense could use another reliable target.
Coleman is the guy. He solidified his first-round status at Baylor's pro day and now simply has to wait and see how the chips fall. Kansas City nears the top of the list of teams sure to watch his name closely on draft day.
