Giants' Beckham off to Record-Setting Start Through 25 Games
New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. finished Monday's 31-24 win over the Miami Dolphins as the NFL's record-holder for most receptions (176) and receiving yards (2,625) through the first 25 regular-season games of a career, per Sportsnet Stats on Twitter.
His 24 receiving touchdowns are only good for second-most, but they still represent a record for the Super Bowl era, according to NFL on CBS' Twitter.
Bob Hayes and Randy Moss unsurprisingly had a joint lead for the old record of 23, which Beckham tied and then broke during Monday's 166-yard, two-touchdown performance in Miami.

The 23-year-old wideout also broke a Giants franchise record by recording his sixth consecutive 100-yard receiving game, besting the previous mark of five in a row that was set by Homer Jones between the 1967 and 1968 seasons.
As if all that weren't enough, Beckham also holds the record for most receptions (169) through a player's' first two seasons, despite missing the first four games of his rookie campaign with a hamstring injury, per Elias Sports Bureau.
He does still need a strong finish to secure the last record, as Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry—Beckham's college teammate and good friend—is also in his second season and finished Monday's game with 162 career receptions.
Landry caught 11 passes for 99 yards in Monday's matchup of former LSU standouts, but Beckham unsurprisingly got the better of his friend in a win that kept the Giants tied for first place in the ugly NFC East.
Next up is a far more difficult Week 15 matchup with an undefeated Carolina Panthers team that features a pair of DPOY candidates in linebacker Luke Kuechly and cornerback Josh Norman, the latter of whom could make Beckham's life quite difficult, at least for three hours this Sunday.
