Fantasy Football Week 10 Rankings: Updated Overview for All Positions
Fantasy football rankings flow in the same vein as their NFL power rankings counterpart.
Going into Week 10, these rankings serve as a guide for owners in the overwhelming state of the fantasy landscape, where they must keep track of 32 teams in a whirlwind of information that continues to increase in volume each year.
Both rankings won't always nail every single thing, like, say, the San Francisco 49ers taking down the Atlanta Falcons, or DeAngelo Williams outscoring every player in a given week.

| 15 | Joe Flacco |
Among the big names at quarterback, Cincinnati Bengals signal-caller Andy Dalton might be one of the best plays going into a matchup against the Houston Texans.
Dalton's sitting on five games with 20 or more points and just one single-digit outing, so he looks like the perfect play against a defense that has allowed four quarterbacks to surpass the 20-point mark, Monday Night Football or not.
As odd as it may sound, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees comes in around the same area as Dalton. He had a slow start to the year and went down with an injury, but has hit double digits in every game since with 22 or more points in three contests.
Brees doesn't have the best matchup this week, but Washington has allowed two or more passing scores to quarterbacks five times.
Want an intriguing sleeper? Consider Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who is owned in just 22.7 percent of leagues. The sophomore has scored 14 or more points three times in the right matchup, something he certainly has against the Oakland Raiders, owners of the defense allowing the fourth-most points to quarterbacks.
Running Backs
| 1 | Todd Gurley |
| 2 | Adrian Peterson |
| 3 | DeAngelo Williams* |
| 4 | Doug Martin |
| 5 | Marshawn Lynch |
| 6 | Justin Forsett |
| 7 | DeMarco Murray |

| 28 | Ronnie Hillman |
| 29 | C.J. Spiller |
| 30 | Joique Bell |
It's usual-suspects time at the top of the running back list.
For the most part, at least, as owners better get used to the idea of seeing the aforementioned Williams up there as he paves the way for the Pittsburgh Steelers in place of Le'Veon Bell.
Williams looked like a smooth play last week and responded with 36 points. He has a high ceiling this week, too, thanks to an encounter with the Cleveland Browns, a defense coughing up the fifth-most points to backs this year.
While many owners will shudder at the thought of Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin thanks to his two-point escapades in Week 9, he's thrown in an irresistible matchup this week against the Dallas Cowboys.
Those Cowboys surrender the second-most points to the position, so as long as Martin can actually hang onto the football, he's going to produce in elite fashion.
While it looks like a dry week for sleepers, Tennessee Titans lead back Antonio Andrews looks like a name owners should watch. The team has made true on its commitment to him as a starter, giving him 16 or more carries in each of his past two outings.
Andrews responded with 10 points this past weekend and next gets the Carolina Panthers, a team that has quietly let up 26 or more points to opposing backfields three times.
Wide Receivers
| 1 | Odell Beckham Jr. |
| 2 | Julian Edelman |
| 3 | Demaryius Thomas |
| 4 | A.J. Green |
| 5 | DeAndre Hopkins |
| 6 | Alshon Jeffery |
| 7 | Larry Fitzgerald |
| 8 | Randall Cobb |
| 9 | Emmanuel Sanders |
| 10 | Allen Robinson |
| 11 | Amari Cooper |
| 12 | Brandon Marshall |
| 13 | Michael Crabtree |
| 14 | Calvin Johnson* |
| 15 | Mike Evans |
| 16 | Brandon LaFell |
| 17 | Eric Decker |
| 18 | Jarvis Landry |
| 19 | Dez Bryant |
| 20 | Antonio Brown |
| 21 | Jeremy Maclin |
| 22 | Jordan Matthews |
| 23 | Allen Hurns* |
| 24 | Stefon Diggs |
| 25 | DeSean Jackson |
| 26 | Tavon Austin |
| 27 | Sammy Watkins* |
| 28 | Brandin Cooks |
| 29 | Davante Adams |
| 30 | Willie Snead |
| 31 | Kamar Aiken |

| 33 | Pierre Garcon |
| 34 | Rishard Matthews |
| 35 | John Brown |
It takes a bit of scrolling to find Denver Broncos wideout Demaryius Thomas on the top-scorers list, but it won't take long on the Week 10 results.
Thomas has just four double-digit outings this year as Peyton Manning has struggled at times under center, but he's due for a big day against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Not only are the Chiefs the worst team on average against the position, they already allowed Thomas to catch eight passes totaling 11 points back in Week 2. If he can find paydirt, it's going to be a huge day.
Really, though, it's been an odd year for most of the guys sitting around the top 10 this week. Look at Chicago Bears wideout Alshon Jeffery, who has finally found his health since Week 6, going for 15 or more points in three consecutive games.
It should be a fourth when he hits the road against the St. Louis Rams. They rank in elite fashion against the position, but a quick glance at the schedule shows that it has been quite the cupcake schedule against wideouts so far this season, minus encounters with Arizona and Green Bay, where the Rams coughed up 22 or more points to the position.
It's also incredibly clear owners cannot let go of the notion that the Jacksonville Jaguars cannot produce, hence Allen Hurns touting an ownership percentage of just 79.5 percent.
Look at it this way—if Hurns, who has five double-digits outings and a touchdown in six consecutive games, played for any other team, he'd be almost 100 percent owned. Alas, it makes him the perfect sleeper going into an encounter with the Baltimore Ravens, the team letting up the second-most points to the position.
Tight Ends
| 1 | Rob Gronkowski |
| 2 | Gary Barnidge |
| 3 | Greg Olsen |
| 4 | Jason Witten |
| 5 | Tyler Eifert |
| 6 | Jordan Reed |
| 7 | Jimmy Graham |
| 8 | Martellus Bennett |
| 9 | Delanie Walker |
| 10 | Richard Rodgers |
| 11 | Travis Kelce |
| 12 | Benjamin Watson |
It's still odd seeing Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge near the top of lists, right?
Barnidge posted his first single-digit outing since Week 2 this past weekend, but it's no reason for owners to shy away from the otherwise consistent breakout player.
This is especially the case against the Pittsburgh Steelers, where the Browns figure to take to the air often against a defense allowing the fifth-most points to tight ends.
Speaking of reliable, Greg Olsen of the Carolina Panthers will be at it again this week, adding to his three double-digit outings over his past four games thanks to a road trip to Tennessee to take on the Titans—the team ranked right behind the Steelers on the same list.
This week, the top sleeper goes to Kyle Rudolph in Minnesota. Bridgewater hasn't helped him reach double digits yet this season, but a showdown with the league-worst Oakland Raiders will get him there.
Defense/Special Teams
| 1 | Broncos |
| 2 | Rams |
| 3 | Titans |
| 4 | Cardinals |
| 5 | Ravens |
| 6 | Jets |
| 7 | Packers |
| 8 | Panthers |
| 9 | Steelers |
| 10 | Bengals |
Chalk plays rule the day at defense, and why not?
Look at the Denver Broncos, outscoring all other units by more than 30 points. It's borderline silly, and so is the fact the Broncos host the Chiefs this week, the team it posted 21 points against back in Week 2.
Don't scoff, either, because the struggling Ravens might be the top sleeper play of the week. The unit hasn't scored double digits since Week 1, but could flirt with the same output against the Jaguars.
Those Jaguars allow the second-most points to defenses and have produced four double-digit performances in a row.
Kickers
| 1 | Stephen Gostkowski |
| 2 | Nick Novak |
| 3 | Justin Tucker |
| 4 | Josh Brown |
| 5 | Jason Myers |
| 6 | Dustin Hopkins |
| 7 | Brandon McManus |
| 8 | Blair Walsh |
| 9 | Steven Hauschka |
| 10 | Sebastian Janikowski |
He doesn't get the headlines, but New York Giants kicker Josh Brown remains the model of consistency this year.
For better or worse, at least. Brown has hit double digits in every other game this year, an odd trend. It's one he should be able to break this weekend (he scored 17 points in Week 9), though, as his team engages in a shootout with the Patriots.
Jason Myers of the Jaguars is easily the top sleeper of the week. After having his job in jeopardy, Myers came out in Week 9 and posted 12 points. He should be able to follow up with a similar performance against the Ravens, the team allowing the most points to kickers this year.
