Fantasy Football Week 10: Rankings, Projections and Waiver-Wire Tips
A thrilling Sunday of NFL football provided us with some big scores on both the gridiron and in the fantasy realm. There were a whopping 13 teams that notched over 27 points on Sunday, while no squad was held to single digits. That means we have a lot to sort through!
Week 10 turned out to be a much cleaner product than last week's injurypocalypse, but for you few unfortunate Ben Roethlisberger and Dion Lewis owners, we'll go through waiver-wire options as well. It's crunch time in the fantasy world, and there's no room for mistakes. Got a few hundred dollars left in waiver cash? Time to pony up.
As always, we'll hit you with rankings and projections at each position. Here's your Week 10 slate of NFL action.

Boom: Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars

Captain Garbage Time did it again on Sunday in a matchup with the Jets, logging 381 yards and a pair of touchdowns bookended by a couple of picks and a lost fumble. Just another day at the office.
QB1s such as Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan, Andrew Luck and Blaine Gabbert (kidding...maybe) are all on bye in Week 10, while Big Ben Roethlisberger will likely miss the matchup with the Browns before his bye, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Bortles isn't exactly waiver-wire fodder, but feel free to plug him right into your lineup if you're in need of a big QB2 performance. It would be a real shocker if he didn't light up the porous Baltimore Ravens. John Harbaugh's unit surrenders 284 yards a game and has just three picks on the year, last in the league.
For you DFS junkies, Bortles will also represent a good value pick in your lineup with the bye week hitting hard. According to the DraftCrunch lineup optimizer tool that correctly pegged Cam Newton, Antonio Brown and Delanie Walker for massive games in Week 9, Bortles could wind up being the best bet.
Bortles is going off next week. Believe that!
Bust: Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks

Wilson has been far from bad this season, but the upside just hasn't been there. That's not what you want to see on a weekly basis from your QB1.
The swarming Arizona Cardinals await him in Week 10, which makes that 17.3 projection tough to fathom. Wilson has topped that once since Week 2, and he has more or less been taking what the defense gives him this season. What reason is there to believe this stellar pass defense will solve most of his problems?
Arizona leads the league with 13 picks. Wilson will likely lay par for the course in this one, which isn't conducive to QB1 numbers. Look elsewhere if you have the chance.
Running Backs
| Rank | Player | Projection |
| 1 | Todd Gurley STL | 16.9 |
| 2 | DeAngelo Williams PIT | 16.9 |
| 3 | Justin Forsett BAL | 15.3 |
| 4 | Eddie Lacy GB | 14.8 |
| 5 | DeMarco Murray PHI | 14 |
| 6 | Darren McFadden DAL | 13.5 |
| 7 | Mark Ingram NO | 13.1 |
| 8 | Jeremy Hill CIN | 12.6 |
| 9 | Jonathan Stewart CAR | 12 |
| 10 | Marshawn Lynch SEA | 11.8 |
| 11 | Latavius Murray OAK | 11.7 |
| 12 | Chris Ivory NYJ | 11.6 |
| 13 | Doug Martin TB | 11.5 |
| 14 | Adrian Peterson MIN | 11.4 |
| 15 | LeGarrette Blount NE | 10.8 |
Boom: Lamar Miller, Miami Dolphins

Lamar Miller is killing it. After a big day Sunday when he totaled 141 yards and a pair of scores, Miller now has six touchdowns over the past four contests. The post-Joe Philbin Dolphins are committed to running the ball, and Miller has scored in every game under Dan Campbell.
The Philadelphia Eagles have a good run defense, but we did just see Darren McFadden go for 117 yards on them. The fact that Campbell is so insistent on getting Miller involved in the passing game makes him a borderline RB1. He snagged all seven of his targets in Week 9.
I'm in. It's a shame he isn't in the top-15 projections.
Bust: Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers

Really? What has Lacy done to warrant the fourth-highest projection this week?
It hurts me to see Lacy in this light, as I have been beating his fantasy drum hard over the past two seasons. I don't recognize the player I'm seeing these days. He looks like Trent Richardson. The groin injury doesn't help.
James Starks found paydirt again in Week 9, while Lacy turned five carries into 10 yards and a fumble. Starks has also taken on most pass-catching duties, which also hurts after Lacy corralled 42 receptions last year. Lacy hasn't topped 20 carries or 100 yards in 2015, and he hasn't passed 40 yards since Week 4.
A tasty matchup with Detroit does nothing to instill confidence in running Lacy out there. Things have gotten that bad. I'm officially giving up my seat on the Eddie Lacy bandwagon until further notice. Jeremy Hill is just a small step behind Lacy on my no-fly list, as well. Don't feel the obligation to employ either as even an RB2 this week or for the rest of the campaign.
Wide Receivers
| Rank | Player | Projection |
| 1 | Antonio Brown PIT | 14 |
| 2 | DeAndre Hopkins HOU | 13.3 |
| 3 | Odell Beckham Jr. NYG | 13 |
| 4 | A.J. Green CIN | 13 |
| 5 | Randall Cobb GB | 13 |
| 6 | Demaryius Thomas DEN | 12.5 |
| 7 | Julian Edelman NE | 12.4 |
| 8 | Emmanuel Sanders DEN | 11.7 |
| 9 | Alshon Jeffery CHI | 11.4 |
| 10 | Allen Robinson JAX | 11.4 |
| 11 | Brandon Marshall NYJ | 11.3 |
| 12 | Michael Crabtree OAK | 11.1 |
| 13 | Calvin Johnson DET | 10.9 |
| 14 | Larry Fitzgerald ARI | 10.5 |
| 15 | Amari Cooper OAK | 9.6 |
Boom: Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars

Jaguars vs. Ravens is likely to be a shootout, and since we previously mentioned Bortles as a boom candidate, why not peg Robinson to be on the other end?
The duo would be a very nice DFS stack, as well as a traditional fantasy pairing. Robinson hasn't seen fewer than nine targets since Week 1, and he managed to throw down 121 yards largely on Darrelle Revis this past Sunday. The Ravens secondary is unfathomably poor, so you should have no reservations about relying heavily on Robinson.
Despite Allen Hurns scoring six games in a row, there's plenty of room for both these wideouts to eat in this offense. Robinson could be in line for a massive outing in Week 10.
Side note: Dez Bryant is inexcusably not in the top-15 projections. Of course, all redraft owners will start him regardless, but he could be DFS gold in a matchup with Tampa Bay if his price tag isn't too high.
Bust: Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers

How hard is this to fathom coming off a 17-catch, 284-yard outing?
The big sticking point here is that Big Ben is likely out, and Brown's production takes a big hit when that takes place. Brown went scoreless in the five weeks sans-Roethlisberger, and has three scores and a 284-yard outing with him in the lineup.
Landry Jones is no pushover, but toss that in with a Joe Haden matchup, and Brown isn't the surest bet for a big Week 10 performance.
Tight Ends
| Rank | Player | Projection |
| 1 | Rob Gronkowski NE | 13.3 |
| 2 | Greg Olsen CAR | 8.3 |
| 3 | Gary Barnidge CLE | 8.2 |
| 4 | Tyler Eifert CIN | 8.2 |
| 5 | Jordan Reed WAS | 7.9 |
| 6 | Jimmy Graham SEA | 7.7 |
| 7 | Martellus Bennett CHI | 7.4 |
| 8 | Richard Rodgers GB | 7.2 |
| 9 | Zach Ertz PHI | 6.8 |
| 10 | Delanie Walker TEN | 6.7 |
| 11 | Travis Kelce KC | 6.3 |
| 12 | Larry Donnell NYG | 6.2 |
| 13 | Eric Ebron DET | 6.2 |
| 14 | Julius Thomas JAX | 6.2 |
| 15 | Jason Witten DAL | 6 |
Boom: Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles

This one's a little bit of a stretch, but someone is due.
Ertz started the year slowly but has picked it up over the past four games. He has 19 receptions over that span, but he has been held back by Sam Bradford missing him in the end zone more than Wile E. Coyote misses the Road Runner.
Dated references aside, Ertz is due to find the end zone, and he has proved to be the most reliable target Bradford and Chip Kelly have at their disposal. It's a matter of time before it starts paying off for his owners. I'm going out on a limb and saying he finally finds the end zone in Week 10 to break his streak.
Bust: Martellus Bennett, Chicago Bears

One man who has not benefited from the return of Alshon Jeffery has been Bennett. He hasn't been on the same page with Jay Cutler at all in recent weeks, hauling in just 13 of his 27 targets the past three games.
A Monday night matchup with the Chargers could cure some of that, but the vaunted Rams defense is not fun for anybody. Jeffery's presence immediately makes Bennett the No. 2 option, and that's not comforting enough to put faith in as a TE1.
Tight end isn't the position to swing for the fences, so it's unlikely owners will be yanking Bennett from their lineups without a reliable backup plan. However, if you have someone like Eric Ebron or Benjamin Watson on your bench, it's worth the look.
Waiver-Wire Advice
Antonio Andrews and James Starks Could be Your Last Chance

Every year, fantasy owners lick their chops waiting for great running backs to emerge from the abyss. Now at Week 10, your chances of finding that guy get smaller and smaller by the week.
Starks appears to have supplanted Lacy in Green Bay, at least enough to warrant lineup consideration. He has scored in two of the past three games and is now the main pass-catcher out of the backfield.
Andrews made good on new coach Mike Mularkey's faith in him, and finally Titans fans got to see a running back have a chance to prove himself. Andrews churned out 111 yards on 20 total touches against the Saints, and has earned workhorse duties.
Your Le'Veon Bell and Jamaal Charles saviors might not be coming after these two. Starks and Andrews might be the last two options, so pounce now if they're available.
Ignore the Tight Ends

Garrett Celek hauled in two touchdowns for the 49ers on Sunday, and Owen Daniels came out of nowhere for 102 yards and a score.
However, neither is worthy of a pickup. Blaine Gabbert won't be throwing two touchdowns every week for San Francisco, and Celek is hardly a go-to option. He isn't even worth a bye-week filler.
Daniels' game came out of absolutely nowhere. Denver traded for Vernon Davis last week, and he surprisingly saw just one target in his first game. It's only a matter of time before he gets comfortable and Daniels gets relegated to backup duty.
It was a very quiet week on the waiver wire. If you're looking for immediate help, it might be better for you to explore last-minute trades before the deadline. By Week 10, that wire is pretty barren.
