Broncos' Manning Ties Favre's Record of 186 Regular-Season Wins
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning led his team to a 29-10 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football, tying Brett Favre's regular-season record of 186 career quarterback wins as a starter, per Sportsnet Stats.
Having arguably his worst season since his rookie campaign back in 1998, the 39-year-old Manning proved that he still has something left in the tank, completing 21 of his 29 pass attempts for 340 yards in Sunday's win.
The Denver running game accounted for all three of the team's touchdowns, and Manning did throw an interception, yet he finished the game with his best mark of the season in ESPN's Total QBR metric (93.6).

Of course, Manning still only has a 52.1 Total QBR for the season, placing him 21st in the league among all qualified players, nestled right between Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown (52.8) and former Houston Texans quarterback Ryan Mallett (51.5), per ESPN.
Manning's 75.1 passer rating is his lowest since his '98 rookie season and his 62.8 completion percentage is his worst since 2000. He has also thrown more interceptions (11) than touchdowns (eight) for the first time since '98, though it will be surprising if that statistic holds by the end of the season.
In any case, Manning can take sole possession of the regular-season wins record this Sunday, with his Broncos traveling to Indianapolis to face his former team.
