Jets WR Brandon Marshall Uses Yankees Hat to Show Support for Mets over Cubs

The Chicago Cubs and New York Mets are meeting in the 2015 National League Championship Series on Saturday, and that matchup creates a problem for New York Jets receiver Brandon Marshall.

You see, before this season, he spent the previous three campaigns playing for the Chicago Bears. Now, he is a member of the Jets.

Does he root for the team from the city he spent a few years in, or does he root for the club that plays in his current state?

It's not an easy call.

In fact, it was such a tough decision that Marshall had to ask for some help:

The fans spoke, and the Mets were the winners. However, you may not know it from the Photoshop job the receiver tweeted out.

It showed a picture of Marshall "wearing" a New York hat. Although the cap featured the Mets' blue and orange, it also donned the New York Yankees' logo, not their crosstown rivals'. Whoops.

That mistake probably made some New Yorkers sick to their stomachs.
