Bills Offense Struggling to Shake Injury Woes
Watkins is just one of the Bills' big playmakers to have battled the injury bug this season. LeSean McCoy, Tyrod Taylor and Karlos Williams have all missed time with various ailments.
Watkins' speed and catching prowess have made him a marked man for opposing defenses, as he recorded just seven receptions for 99 yards going into Week 6. He was on pace for a big game before the injury, with four receptions for 48 yards and the aforementioned score.
Taylor, who won his first starting gig this year, has shown in the first half of the season he can survive by spreading the ball around to different receivers. The loss of Watkins hurt Buffalo's depth at wide receiver, so the team will be thankful he is ready to play.
