Aaron Kromer's Battery Charge Dropped: Latest Details and Reaction
According to Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, Florida assistant state attorney Bobby Elmore announced Friday that Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer no longer faces a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an alleged assault in early July.
Rodak also noted that the accusers' family reached an agreement with the assistant coach and no longer desires to continue with the case. The Buffalo News' Tyler Dunne provided additional information about that development:

Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News reported the Bills are still expected to suspend Kromer without pay to start the season.
A pretrial hearing for Kromer was set for Sept. 2 after he pleaded not guilty to the battery charge, per Rodak.
Kromer was arrested July 12 for an incident the previous day in which he allegedly assaulted a child following an argument over the use of beach chairs at Inlet Beach in Walton County, Florida. Walton County Sheriff Michael A. Adkinson Jr. posted a brief summary of the alleged incident on Facebook:
Shortly after his arrest, the Bills placed Kromer on indefinite paid administrative leave. He is entering his first season as Buffalo's offensive line coach after being hired by Rex Ryan in January.
Before the news broke of the dropped charges against Kromer, the Bills tweeted out Friday that Kurt Anderson would be assuming O-line duties:
Fox Sports' Alex Marvez added that Pat Meyer would help Anderson as well.
The Bills have yet to comment on Kromer's situation or whether he will return to his role as offensive line coach at any point this season.
