Babe Ruth's 98-Year-Old Daughter Throws 1st Pitch Before Yankees-Red Sox Game
Kyle NewportJul 12, 2015
In honor of the anniversary of her father's major league debut, Babe Ruth's 98-year-old daughter, Julia Ruth Stevens, was at Fenway Park on Sunday to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Saturday marked the 101st anniversary of Ruth's debut, which was with the Boston Red Sox. Of course, the Great Bambino would go on to play for both the Red Sox and the New York Yankees in his legendary career.
The two rivals met for a three-game series in Boston this weekend, setting the stage for a special first pitch. It was quite the moment watching a Ruth back on the field at Fenway.
