Kevin Williams to Saints: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction
Defensive tackle Kevin Williams has signed a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints, the team announced Friday:
A run-stopping defender, the 34-year old is a much-needed signing, but there are still glaring holes on the Saints defensive line. The team's three existing defensive tackles combined for just one sack last season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
WWL-870's Michael Detillier sees Williams as a shell of his former self but thinks he will help nonetheless:
Williams is coming off a 2014 season with the Seattle Seahawks in which he recorded 18 total tackles and three sacks. It was his only season with Seattle. A six-time Pro Bowler, he spent 11 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, where he enjoyed rookie and sophomore seasons in which he recorded 10.5 and 11.5 sacks, respectively. He was the ninth overall draft pick in 2003.
The Saints are looking to make a run in the wide-open NFC South, where all four teams finished below .500 a season ago. The team allowed 384 yards per game in 2014, which was the second worst in the NFL. Though it has questions on both sides of the ball, shoring up the defensive depth with experienced contributors like Williams is a positive step to rectifying its most glaring issues.
