Harper wasn't able to get an at-bat in the fourth inning, but when the fifth came around, he picked up right where he left off:
All three home runs came off Marlins right-hander Tom Koehler.
This marks the first time in the 22-year-old's four-year career that he has hit three home runs in a game. As the Nationals noted, this is a feat that hasn't been accomplished very often in the franchise's recent history:
Considering he hit home run No. 3 in just the fifth inning, he will get at least one more chance to go for a fourth dinger.
