Eagles Linebacker Going to Prom After Fan Gets 10,000 Retweets

The power of social media.

A Philadelphia Eagles fan sent a direct message to linebacker Emmanuel Acho on Instagram asking if he would take her to prom if she received 2,000 retweets on Twitter.

Acho countered the offer, saying she had a deal if she could get 10,000 retweets. He told the fan she had one week to complete her quest, as he was going to Hong Kong that week.

The fan needed just a few hours to surpass the goal of 10,000 retweets. Acho, a man of his word, responded with this:
