Eli Manning, Odell Beckham, Rueben Randle's Post-Week 12 Fantasy Reaction

Tim KeeneyNov 23, 2014

Rueben Randle led (or tied) the New York Giants in targets the past eight weeks, but it's safe to say Eli Manning has a new favorite option.

That would be rookie Odell Beckham Jr., who exploded for a memorable performance against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday night:

Beckham has been performing at a really high level for several weeks now, but he was on another planet against the 'Boys. He had 125 yards and two touchdowns by halftime, with the second instantly being place among the best in-game grabs ever:

Even LeBron James was left in awe:

Of course, whether Beckham comes down with that catch or not doesn't really change anything. He's still an unbelievable talent who seems to be getting more comfortable every week. Jerry Jones, via Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo, put it simply:

While rookies are always difficult to trust because there tends to be some inconsistency, Beckham, who plays the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans and Washington Redskins in the next three weeks, has to be viewed as a low-end WR1 for the rest of the season.

Eli Manning, meanwhile, has thrown at least 40 passes in each of the past four games. While he's erratic, there is value in volume, making him a QB2 and solid streaming choice with the right matchup.

As for Randle, it appears he is moving to the back burner of this offense. He should probably remain as a bench stash in deeper leagues but can safely be dropped in smaller formats.
