Royals Fan Sitting Behind Home Plate Missed Team's Comeback Because of Nap

Kyle NewportOct 1, 2014

Hey, Kansas City Royals fan sitting behind home plate, your team has the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the 12th inning in a winner-takes-all Wild Card Game.

If you are asleep in that situation, you should have given your ticket to someone who would enjoy every minute of the game. After all, it's not like Royals fans had waited 29 years to see their team back in the postseason or anything like that.

The Royals' Eric Hosmer ended up tripling off the wall in left-center field to put the tying run just 90 feet away.
