Steelers' Antonio Brown Records 5+ Receptions in NFL-Record 20 Straight Games
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown set an NFL record in Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by recording five or more receptions in a 20th consecutive game, per ESPN Stats & Info.
Brown, who tied Laveranues Coles' record of 19 games the previous week, exploded for seven receptions for 131 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's surprising 27-24 loss to the Bucs.
One year removed from a 110-catch, 1,499-yard season, the 26-year-old Brown is once again making his case to be viewed as one of the top wide receivers in the NFL. Through four games, he's tied for first in the league with five receiving touchdowns, while ranking fourth in receiving yards (427) and tied for third in receptions (29).

Though gaudy touchdown totals are typically the territory of larger wideouts, the 5-10 Brown has 13 receiving scores in 21 games over the last two seasons, with a 14th trip to the end zone coming on a punt return.
Given the Pittsburgh offense's reliance on him, it won't be surprising if Brown reaches 25—or even 30—consecutive games with five or more receptions.
He has recorded double-digit targets in 11 of his past 18 appearances, including each of the last three weeks. A Week 5 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars is unlikely to end the streak, as Jacksonville has surrendered an NFL-high 320.8 passing yards per game this season.
While Brown's achievement is unique for the regular season, Sterling Sharpe once had 20 consecutive appearances with five or more receptions for the Green Bay Packers, but with two of those outings coming in the playoffs, per pro-football-reference.com.
