Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd's Updated Fantasy Value with Drew Stanton
The Arizona Cardinals will turn to Drew Stanton at quarterback in their Week 2 matchup against the New York Giants, a move that will affect everyone on the field.
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com first reported starting quarterback Carson Palmer would not be able to play due to a shoulder injury:

The Cardinals later confirmed the quarterback's status on its official Twitter account:
This came as a bit of a surprise, even though the veteran did not participate in practice during the week. Head coach Bruce Arians explained Friday, "It’s been sore, but we’ve been down this road before. The best game he had last year, he didn’t practice all week," via Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com.
Despite this confidence, the regular starter will be out and the pressure is now on Stanton to come through against the Giants. As Kent Somers of AZCentral Sports notes, this will be his first appearance in some time:
Still, Doug Kyed of NESN believes the journeyman could surprise people:
Stanton has struggled with decision-making in his career, throwing nine interceptions compared to just five touchdowns. Still, he is accurate and should be able to fare well in Arians' pass-heavy system.
This means fantasy owners of Michael Floyd should be confident starting the young receiver after his impressive five-catch, 119-yard performance to start the season in Week 1. He is a dynamic player who can make things happen with the ball in his hands, which means he should succeed even if he is forced to take shorter routes.
As far as Larry Fitzgerald is concerned, fantasy owners should already be cautious after he was held to just one catch against the San Diego Chargers. The team could be phasing the veteran out of the game plan in favor of Floyd, which means he should likely remain on your bench anyway until things clear up more.
The change at quarterback should not affect this strategy too much.
Stanton is not expected to post huge numbers himself, but you should not lose too much faith in the players around him. If you were planning on starting any other Cardinals, temper expectations but feel free to keep them in your lineup.
