Peyton Manning's Four Touchdown Passes Lead the Broncos to Victory
The Broncos didn't grab their first lead in this game until the third quarter.
In the end, it didn't matter.
The Broncos (11-3) outscored the Titans 31-7 in the second half to notch their 11th victory of the season, dropping Tennessee to a record of 5-8.
Entering this game, the Broncos were 12-point favorites by odds makers—the largest betting spread of any NFL game in Week 14. Through the first half of this game, it appeared that the Titans would win in one of the biggest upsets of the 2013 season.
Peyton Manning made sure that didn't happen.
Denver scored 24 straight points en route to grabbing a 34-21 lead in the second half, as Manning contributed four touchdown passes on 39 completions to allow the Broncos to remain in control of the AFC's No. 1 Seed.
Tennessee entered with the hope that they could win their sixth game of the season, while remaining just a game back in the AFC wild-card race. After today's loss to the Broncos, the Titans now stand two games back of the Baltimore Ravens (7-5) for the AFC's last playoff spot with just three games to go.
The Broncos will look to continue to cement their hold on the AFC's top seed as they receive a visit from the San Diego Chargers (6-7) in Week 15 on Thursday night. The Titans will host the Arizona Cardinals (8-5) as Tennessee looks to hold on to its slim playoff hopes.
