Jawan Jamison makes a cut downfield.
This was a surprise pick to a lot of people.
Selecting one running back was already a bit of a shocker, but drafting a second one was quite a stupefaction.
Jawan Jamison is the same type of runner that Morris is, but doesn't have quite the same potential.
Being a seventh-round pick doesn’t exactly add up to a lot of luck for Jamison, but who knows. I hate to be cliché, but, “any given Sunday”.
If Jamison does in fact make the roster, and if Morris goes down with any sort of injury (knock on wood), then he could be definitely be a viable replacement.
Among the two rookies, the incumbent Morris, Evan Royster and Roy Helu, Jamison could be the odd man out.
His best shot of making the team will probably be as a reserve fullback or special teamer. Gonna be a tough road to starter-ship for Jamison.
