Week 16 brings plenty of matchups with playoff implications on the line.

Chances are, if you are reading this, you are more interested in which games you should invest in this weekend.

I have broken down each game, one-by-one.

All lines courtesy of Vegas Insider. Enjoy.

Atlanta Falcons (-3.5) at Detroit Lions

Pick: Detroit Lions (+3.5)

I really like Detroit at home. They have been getting extremely unlucky this year which is the exact opposite of what was on their side last season. Atlanta has been somewhat inconsistent as of late, getting humiliated by the Carolina Panthers and then dominating the New York Giants. You just never know with them. Detroit is all but done at this point, although they do have some thing to root for. Fans want to see history. They want to see Calvin Johnson break Jerry Rice's receiving record. He needs less than 200 yards to do so. That stadium will be electric on Saturday night.

Tennessee Titans at Green Bay Packers (-12.5)

Pick: Green Bay Packers (-12.5)

Not really much to say here. It looks like there won't be anyone running the ball for the Packers. That means they will heavily rely on Aaron Rodgers' arm to win the game. That seems to work out well historically. The Titans nearly loss to the New York Jets on Monday night when Mark Sanchez committed five turnovers. They don't stand a chance to come within two touchdowns of the Packers on Sunday.

Oakland Raiders at Carolina Panthers (-8.5)

Pick: Carolina Panthers (-8.5)

I can appreciate a team playing until the end. That's exactly what the Carolina Panthers have been doing lately. They have been in games this year. They are a good team that is certainly on the rise. I like Cam Newton this week. He's got a very favorable matchup against the Raiders defense. I'm taking the Panthers.

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5)

Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5)

If the Bengals win, they clinch a playoff berth. If the Steelers lose, they are out of the playoffs. A lot is on the line here. The Bengals have lost six straight to the Steelers. Heinz Field will be ecstatic when kickoff starts. I just don't see Pittsburgh forgetting to show up. They will get back to Steeler football and win by at least a touchdown.

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins (-4.5)

Pick: Miami Dolphins (-4.5)

Miami has an outside shot of sneaking into the playoffs. They are going to need a lot of things to occur in order for that to happen. It starts with a win against the Bills on Sunday. While it is not likely that the Fins make the playoffs, it is likely, in my mind, that they win this game by more than four points.

New England Patriots (-14.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars

Pick: New England Patriots (-14.5)

This could be as ugly as Seattle in Buffalo. Jacksonville just got blown out by the Dolphins. They are going to get humiliated yet again by the Patriots. What a sad year for the Jags.

Indianapolis Colts (-7) at Kansas City Chiefs

Pick: Kansas City Chiefs (+7)

A Colts win and they're in! They also get head coach Chuck Pagano back on Monday. What an inspirational story that is. I do believe they will win, but by less than the seven point spread. Kansas City is playing at home. Indy has an awful run defense. Jamaal Charles will have a big day but it won't be enough to get the win. I still like the Chiefs against the spread in this one.

Washington Redskins (-4.5) at Philadelphia Eagles

Pick: Philadelphia Eagles (+4.5)

For some reason, I feel the Eagles could win straight up. McCoy is back and Foles is getting better. The Skins on the other hand, must have some boost of confidence after winning in Cleveland with their backup quarterback under center. This game will be much closer than people think. Eagles against the spread.

New Orleans Saints at Dallas Cowboys (-3)

Pick: New Orleans Saints (+3)

I really think after a 41-0 clobbering of Tampa Bay that the Saints can come into Dallas and beat them. I have confidence in Drew Brees' spoiler role. I like the Saints this week to win straight up. I haven't seen Tony Romo come up in the clutch late in the season. Watch out for this Joe Morgan guy.

St. Louis Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3)

Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3)

It's hard to pick a team that just lost 41-0 the previous week, but I do see Tampa Bay winning by more than three. Josh Freeman got his bad performance out of his system. He will come out strong this week and pick apart the St. Louis defense.

New York Giants (-2.5) at Baltimore Ravens

Pick: New York Giants (-2.5)

I have about zero confidence in the Ravens at this point. Their season is slowly slipping away. Lucky for them, they have clinched a playoff berth. I just don't see Eli getting embarrassed two weeks in a row. He is too good for that. The Ravens secondary will have a tough time with Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks. I am taking the Giants who are favorited on the road.

Minnesota Vikings at Houston Texans (-8)

Pick: Houston Texans (-8)

A big game for the Texans. They can seal up the number one seed in the AFC which comes with home field advantage. I like them at home. That stadium will be out of control. Adrian Peterson will be held under 100 yards. The Texans will cover.

Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos (-13)

Pick: Cleveland Browns (+13)

I just don't think that the Browns are as bad as people make them out to be. I like them this week. Not to win, but to cover. They need to establish the run game early so they don't have to rely on Brandon Weeden's arm. Like I said, I don't expect them to win, but I expect it to be closer than the spread.

Chicago Bears (-5.5) at Arizona Cardinals

Pick: Chicago Bears (-5.5)

The Chicago Bears are in desperate need of a win. Luckily for them, they play against an Arizona Cardinals team who doesn't possess a true quarterback. A Bears win puts them one step closer to the playoffs. I think their defense will get back on track and snag another defensive score.

San Diego Chargers at New York Jets (-3)

Pick: San Diego Chargers (+3)

I care very little about the outcome of this one. The Jets have no quarterback. I am taking the Chargers. Straight up.

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks (PICK)

Pick: Seattle Seahawks (PICK)

Seattle does not lose at home. Period. It really doesn't matter who they are playing. I am taking them for that reason. This one will be extremely tight. Go Seahawks.
