Week 9 brought us plenty of stellar performances, some coming from unlikely names. Here, we take a look at whose fantasy stock rose after the Sunday action in no particular order.

1) Andrew Luck - QB - Indianapolis Colts

Week 9 stats: 433 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, no interceptions.

Luck's performance against the Miami Dolphins was incredible. He broke the rookie passing record for most yards in a game with 433 yards. The number one overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft is the real deal.

2) Doug Martin - RB - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 9 stats: 25 carries, 251 rushing yards, 4 touchdowns; 4 receptions, 24 yards.

Most people didn't think Martin could follow up his Thursday night performance in Minnesota with another solid game. He was more than solid today. After a slow to start to the season, Martin is now on a roll: his 251 rushing yards against the Oakland Raiders were the third most ever by a rookie. Had he not lost 14 yards on his last three runs as his team was trying to run some time off the clock, he would have had the second most rushing yards by a rookie in a single game.

3) Brandon Marshall - WR - Chicago Bears

Week 9 stats: 9 receptions, 122 yards, 2 touchdowns.

It seems like Marshall's stock is rising every week. He keeps on performing. He and his quarterback Jay Cutler have chemistry as good as any quarterback-receiver duo in the league.

4) Mikel Leshoure - RB - Detroit Lions

Week 9 stats: 16 carries, 70 yards, 3 touchdowns.

I called this breakout performance earlier in the week. If you have this guy on your bench, you should consider getting him in your lineup. The guy is a stud. He's quick with his feet and knows how to shake off defenders.

5) Andre Johnson - WR - Houston Texans

Week 9 stats: 8 receptions, 118 yards.

A lot of people keep talking about how Andre Johnson is past his prime. Today proved many people wrong. Johnson is still an elite downfield threat in this league. He is still the go-to guy for starting quarterback Matt Schaub.

6) Brandon Myers - TE - Oakland Raiders

Week 9 stats: 8 receptions, 59 yards, 2 touchdowns.

Myers came into the week leading the Raiders in receiving but didn't reel in any touchdown catches. This week he broke out with two. In a league where tight ends are starting to dominate, Myers' stock is certainly on the rise.

7) Rod Streater - WR - Oakland Raiders

Week 9 stats: 4 receptions, 54 yards, 1 touchdown.

Streater is having a great rookie year so far. It's going to be difficult to find a spot on your roster to start him, but if your team is throttled by injuries Streater is definitely worth a look.

8) Cecil Shorts - WR - Jacksonville Jaguars

Week 9 stats: 3 receptions, 56 yards.

Cecil Shorts is starting to emerge as Blaine Gabbert's favorite target. He didn't explode for ridiculous numbers, but he has potential to start in flex spots in most leagues.

9) Isaac Redman - RB - Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 9 stats: 26 carries, 147 yards, 1 touchdown; 2 receptions, 4 yards.

The Steelers were without running backs Rashard Mendenhall and Jonathan Dwyer, but that was no problem for Pittsburgh. Isaac Redman gashed the Giants' defense with his ground-and-pound rushing style. This guy is extremely difficult for opposing defenses to bring down. He consistently broke tackles all day long and made life miserable for the New York Giants' defense.

10) Eric Decker - WR - Denver Broncos

Week 9 stats: 8 receptions, 99 yards, 2 touchdowns.

Decker has just been as consistent as it gets. He is becoming Peyton Manning's favorite target ahead of Demaryius Thomas.

11) Matt Forte - RB - Chicago Bears

Week 9 stats: 12 carries, 103 yards, 1 touchdown; 2 receptions, 45 yards.

I loved what Forte was able to do today. He seems to be really healthy and back to his usual fantasy form. Owners can't be anything but happy to see him perform the way he did in Tennessee.

12) Chris Johnson - RB - Tennessee Titans

Week 9 stats: 16 carries, 141 yards, 1 touchdown.

I realize Johnson also had two fumbles today, but his 18-point performance in standard leagues does show us that he is getting back to CJ2K. I love what I have seen from him the past few weeks. He is easily on pace to rush for over 1,000 yards this year.

13) Vick Ballard - RB - Indianapolis Colts

Week 9 stats: 16 carries, 60 yards; 3 receptions, 38 yards.

With starting running back Donald Brown out, Ballard has done a tremendous job filling in. He is now the lead back for the Indianapolis Colts and is becoming a bulldozer running through the tackles. I like him to have a big second half of the season.

14) Matt Schaub - QB - Houston Texans

Week 9 stats: 268 yards, 2 touchdowns, no interceptions.

Teams are starting to do a terrific job handling Arian Foster. This has led them to rely on Matt Schaub's arm to win games and he has been doing a terrific job doing so. He hasn't made many mistakes this year. He is worth taking a look at to start in your league moving forward.

15) Josh Freeman - QB - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 9 stats: 247 yards, 2 touchdowns, no interceptions.

Freeman has spearheaded a Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offense that has averaged nearly 40 points per-game since the beginning of October. In his last 4 games, he has thrown for 11 touchdowns and only one interception. I am very impressed with all aspects of Freeman's game.

16) Carson Palmer - QB - Oakland Raiders

Week 9 stats: 414 yards, 4 touchdowns, 3 interceptions.

His stock didn't rise because of his performance today. It rose because the team lost running back Darren McFadden. If he is out, they are going to heavily rely on his arm. When he throws a lot of passes, he puts up numbers as you saw today.

17) Brian Hartline - WR - Miami Dolphins

Week 9 stats: 8 receptions, 107 yards.

With Ryan Tannehill emerging as a threat in this league at quarterback, his favorite target has become Brian Hartline. After the fantastic show he put on today, he definitely has WR2 value in most league formats.

18) Owen Daniels - TE - Houston Texans

Week 9 stats: 4 receptions, 62 yards, 1 touchdown.

I loved just about everything I saw out of Owen Daniels today. He is another tight end that is consistently getting better by the game. On the season he has 33 receptions for 416 yards and four touchdowns. Look for those numbers to grow significantly as time progresses.

19) T.Y. Hilton - WR - Indianapolis Colts

Week 9 stats: 6 receptions, 102 yards, 1 touchdown.

Hilton had a sensational day today. He is becoming Andrew Luck's favorite target aside from Reggie Wayne. He should be considered as a flex player for the remainder of the year. Be sure to keep an eye on his progress.

20) Jermaine Gresham - TE - Cincinnati Bengals

Week 9 stats: 6 receptions, 108 yards.

Gresham went over 100 yards today for the first time in his career. He is starting to become quarterback Andy Dalton's check down target if A.J. Green is covered. He should be started in all league formats moving forward.
