As we roll into Week 9 of the NFL season, fantasy football owners are having to deal primarily with injuries and bye weeks. If you're having to cope with either one, you are likely in need of some last minute advice on who to pick up in order to fill those holes on your roster.

Here's a group of players at every fantasy position that are viable fill-ins, and who you should consider adding to your squad for this week.

1. QB Pickup: Russell Wilson

If your starting QB is injured or has a bye this week, and you still haven't discovered an adequate replacement, your search should stop at Russell Wilson.

Wilson has quietly had a pretty solid fantasy season thus far, and his matchup against the Minnesota Vikings should be no exception.

The Vikes have given up the fourth most points to QBs over the last five weeks, and just lost one of their corners due to injury. If you're in a bind, pick up Wilson.

2. RB Pickup: Justin Forsett

If you need a quick fill-in at the RB position, pick up Justin Forsett for Week 9. Forsett is matched up against the lowly Buffalo Bills defense, which has given up the most fantasy points to RBs over the past five weeks of the season.

With Ben Tate set to sit out this week's game, Forsett has a very good chance of having a strong fantasy game due to the increased touches he's going to see.

Don't expect an enormous effort, but he's definitely a viable flex option if you're in a jam.

3. WR Pickup: Louis Murphy

Louis Murphy has put in a couple of decent performances over the past two weeks, and he'll get a chance to increase his production this week against the Washington Redskins. Brandon LaFell is out this week with a concussion, which should help Murphy to get some more targets.

The Redskins defense is giving up the seventh most fantasy points to WRs over the past five weeks. It should shape up to be a very nice day for Murphy.

4. TE Pickup: Kellen Davis

Kellen Davis isn't the most trustworthy fantasy football option, but if you're desperate, he's a decent guy to get off the waiver wire.

With the Tennessee Titans giving up the fourth most fantasy points to TEs over the past five weeks, he could have a nice day.

There are other TEs out there, but I think Davis has a good chance to score this week. I'm going more with my gut than anything on this one.

In fantasy football, sometimes that's the better strategy there is.

5. Kicker Pickup: Shaun Suisham

There's not too much to say, other than Suisham has kicked eight field goals in his last three games.

When it comes to a kicker, that's really all you can ask for.
