With bye weeks starting to take their toll on fantasy teams, making sure your players are active in Week 6 will go a long way in making sure you are in the playoffs this year.

There are many big names considered questionable coming into this week, and NFL fans and fantasy owners must start formulating backup plans for the potential inactives.

We have all the news you need for your fantasy team or your favorite NFL squad, so keep it here for all the latest updates as they break.

Greg Jennings, WR, Green Bay Packers

Status: Out

Those hoping for a late-week miracle recovery from Jennings will unfortunately go disappointed. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tyler Dunne, the Packers' star receiver is officially out for Sunday's contest against the Houston Texans .

#Packers injuries: Finley (shoulder) quest, House (sh) quest, Jennings out, Raji (ankle) quest, Richardson out, DJ Williams (ham) quest.

With the Packers at 2-3 coming into this Sunday, Jennings' absence is nothing short of a crushing blow to the offense.

Robert Griffin III, QB, Washington Redskins

Status: Active

Robert Griffin III will play and start Sunday for the Redskins, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Matt Cassel, QB, Kansas City Chiefs

Status: Out

Matt Cassel has been ruled out, according to Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star:

Cassel was in the news last week when Chiefs fans applauded the injury he sustained vs. the Ravens. This week, we'll finally see if Brady Quinn has what it takes to be the starter in Kansas City.

Hakeem Nicks, WR, New York Giants

Status: Active

While it is still unclear how many targets Nicks will get Sunday, the Giants plan to have the wide receiver available for action. Fantasy owners should approach with caution.

Jake Locker, QB Tennessee Titans

Status: Out

According to Jim Wyatt and John Glennon of The Tennessean, Jake Locker will miss Thursday’s game and veteran Matt Hasselbeck will get the start. Locker is still recovering from a shoulder injury and is targeting Week 7 for his return.

Ben Tate, RB, Houston Texans

Status: Questionable

Although his listed status may cause some wariness, it seems like a virtual certainty that Tate will play in Week 6. According to writer Nick Scurfield, the Texans back was a full participant in practice and is fully expected in the lineup against the Green Bay Packers.

Every #Texans player practiced today except S Quintin Demps. Ben Tate (toe), Lestar Jean (knee) should be good to go Sunday

Troy Polamalu, S, Pittsburgh Steelers

Status: Out

Ed Bouchette, Steelers beat writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, is reporting on Twitter about Polamalu‘s status straight from head coach Mike Tomlin:
