Kevin Youkilis Trade Rumors: What Can the Red Sox Get in Return for Youk?
The Boston Red Sox have an awkward playing-time triangle going on between Adrian Gonzalez, Kevin Youkilis and Will Middlebrooks. Things are OK now, but it’s in Boston’s best interest to find a way to resolve the situation.
To that end, all signs point toward the Red Sox trading Youkilis, who has been with the organization for over a decade.
Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com recently reported that there are already several teams interested in dealing for Youkilis. If true, this is great news for the Red Sox, as it means they’ll have plenty of options they can pursue if and when they finally put Youk on the block (if they haven’t already).
The question is: What can they get for him?
