Tim Tebow Video: Shira Lazar Has Tebowing Failure During Awkward Interview

Gabe ZaldivarJun 5, 2018

Tim Tebow recently caused an interviewer to hit herself with an iPad and then get a little awkward with the term goggle.

Some of you may be getting tired of Tim Tebow by now. Okay, all of you are pretty frustrated with the incessant coverage.

But just think of how tired he must be of people Tebowing in front of him as if he has never seen it before.

Yet he handles it like a champ. Sigh, Tebow. You make it so hard to hate you.

The video isn't action packed, but it has two moments of note that are well worth your time. Here is the Cliff Notes version.

Tebow was on the red carpet at the Samsung Hope For Children Gala in New York City and was approached by reporter Shira Lazar.

At the :20 second mark, Lazar begins to lose the interview a bit before she asks Tebow if he gets tired, "of this." That is when she Tebows in front of Tebow, something I admit I have put on the 'ol bucket list.

Only, she bangs her head on the iPad that is in her hand.

Yay!

The other portion worth noting is at the 2:22 mark of the video. This is where Lazar basically asks how self-involved Tebow is, but it turns into a double-entendre battle that was also noted by NBC Sports.

"

Lazar: “Do you Google Alert yourself?”

Tebow: No, not really.”

Lazar: “You don’t read what people say about you?”

Tebow: “I’m too busy to just Google myself. Do you Google yourself?”

Lazar: “No. What are we talking about? Uh, no. Come on.”

"

Yay times two!

Granted this reads far more silly than it is stated in the video. Still this isn't an interview that will go up in the Hall of Fame of athletic exchanges.

Practice safe Tebowing, people.
