You have probably noticed this, but Shea McClellin has become all the rage in terms of who the Green Bay Packers will select in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft. At least with the mock draft community. It's almost a who's who list of people who have the Packers selecting McClellin.

Mike Mayock is. So is Mel Kiper Jr. As is Don Banks. Plus you have the dean of beat writers for the Packers, Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, who also selected McClellin.

Tyler Dunne of the MJS did as well. Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press Gazette also had the Packers taking McClellin in the first round.

You can also add Pete Prisco to the list. Plus Chad Reuter. And Will Brinson. And Rob Rang. And Wes Bunting.

That is a heck of a list for player that is supposed to be selected by a team with the 28th selection of the first round.

I'm pleased to say that I was on the Shea McClellin bandwagon well before it was hip to make him the first selection of the Packers in the 2012 NFL draft. It was almost three weeks ago when I first had the Packers picking McClellin in one of my mock drafts.

I had my final mock draft less than a week ago and I still had the Packers picking McClellin in the first round.

So...what does this all mean? Well, we could all end up wrong and with egg on our faces. Or we could all end up right. I'm just happy that I got on the McClellin train before it became overcrowded.

Bottom line, we will find out tonight whether any of us have any Nostradamus-esque qualities.
