NFL Playoff Schedule 2012: TV Info and Kickoff Times for Wild Card Weekend

With the 2011-12 NFL playoffs kicking off this weekend, here is the TV, radio and kickoff information for each game.

Also, some quick 2011 and all-time playoff facts are added to brief you on each franchise's postseason experience and history.

Cincinnati at Houston

Texans Info - TV: KPRC-Channel 2, Radio: 610 AM/100.3 FM KILT, Kickoff: 4:30 PM EST, Saturday Jan. 7.

Bengals Info - TV: WLWT-Channel 5, Radio: 700 AM WLW/102.7 FM WEBN, Kickoff: 4:30 PM EST, Saturday Jan. 7.

The Bengals enter the game as the AFC's No. 6 seed with a 9-7 record and have not won a playoff game since 1990. It is the franchise's tenth playoff appearance all-time and holds a postseason record of 5-9.

The Houston Texans won their first AFC South title in 2011 with a 10-6 record and are the AFC's No. 3 seed. This is the Texans first playoff berth as a franchise since their establishment in 2002. It is also the first NFL postseason game held in The City of Houston since the 1993 Oilers. 

Detroit at New Orleans

Lions Info - TV: WDIV-Channel 4, Radio: 1270 AM/97.1 FM WXYT Kickoff: 8:00 PM EST, Saturday Jan, 7.

For the first time since 1999, the Detroit Lions qualify for postseason play. The Lions finished 2011 with a 10-6 record and are the NFC's No. 6 seed. Detroit has not won a playoff game since the 1991 season, has a 7-10 record all-time in the postseason and this is their sixteenth appearance.

The New Orleans Saints managed to finish off 2011 on eight straight wins and post a record of 13-3. As the NFC's No. 3 seed, the Saints won the NFC South, are making their ninth playoff appearance and have a postseason record of 5-7.

From their establishment in 1967, the Saints didn't make a playoff appearance until 1987.

Atlanta at NY Giants

Giants Info - TV: WNYW-Channel 5, Radio: 660 AM WFAN Kickoff: 1:00 PM EST, Sunday Jan, 8.

Falcons Info - TV: WAGA-Channel 5,  Radio: 790 AM WQXI/94.1 FM WSTR, Kickoff: 1:00 PM EST, Sunday Jan, 8.

The Atlanta Falcons enter the NFL postseason with a 10-6 record, the NFC's No. 5 seed and are making their third playoff appearance in the last four seasons (four straight winning records). The Falcons have a 6-10 postseason record with 2011 being their eleventh appearance, but haven't won a playoff game since 2004.

Established in 1925, the New York Giants are making their thirty-first playoff appearance and have an all-time postseason record of 20-24. Winners of three Super Bowls, the Giants haven't won a playoff game since Super Bowl XLII and enter this postseason as the NFC's No. 4 seed with a 9-7 record.

Pittsburgh at Denver

Steelers Info: TV: KDKA-Channel 2,  Radio: 970 AM WBGG/102.5 FM WDVE Kickoff: 4:30 PM EST, Sunday Jan. 8.

From their establishment in 1933 through the 1971 NFL season, the Steelers made just two postseason appearances. Since, their longest playoff drought was a four-year span from 1985-88. Entering these playoffs with a 12-4 record and the AFC's No. 5 seed, Pittsburgh is making it's twenty-eighth playoff appearance and has an all-time playoff record of 33-21.

Making their first playoff appearance since 2005, the Broncos won the AFC West with an 8-8 record and are the AFC's No. 4 seed. Posting an all-time playoff record of 17-15, Denver has now qualified eighteen times for the postseason.
