The majority of fantasy football leagues are now preparing for the playoffs, which means players need to quickly hit the waiver wires to stock pile their rosters with as much talent as possible.
Since it's near the end of the season, finding good pickups has become much harder, but that doesn't mean there aren't players worth adding.
Here are the top available players in most fantasy leagues for Week 14 and beyond. As always, feel free to leave a comment with any fantasy football help you might need and we'll help you out.
Matt Moore, QB
The Miami Dolphins were having a terrible season, but once Moore took over the starting job, the team found new life and have reeled off a few impressive victories. While they may have screwed themselves in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes, it's great to see the team never gave up.
Moore has been a consistent fantasy quarterback over the last few weeks, easily scoring double-digit points. He doesn't falter when taking on less-than-stellar opponents, and you have to love that.
In the coming weeks, Moore and the Dolphins battle a subpar Philadelphia Eagles defense, a weak Buffalo Bills secondary (who Moore already torched for three touchdowns this season), as well as the New England Patriots (who happen to have the worst pass defense in the NFL).
Moore is only owned in five percent of ESPN leagues and 18 percent on Yahoo! leagues.
Marion Barber, RB
With Matt Forte injured, Barber is about to become a workhorse for the Chicago Bears. Their offense is depleting, which means they'll rely on the ground and pound to get the job done.
According to Michael C. Wright of ESPN Chicago, Forte is likely out for a few weeks.
This means Barber is going to be a hot name on the waiver wires, so act fast before your rivals get to him.
On Sunday, Barber will battle the Denver Broncos, who rank 20th against the run and just let Toby Gerhart rush for 91 yards. Barber knows how important these next few weeks for him will be, as it is a time for him to prove himself. He'll make the most of his touches and please a number of fantasy football players.
Barber is only owned in 17 percent of ESPN leagues and 36 percent of Yahoo! leagues.
Dexter McCluster, RB/WR
The Kansas City Chiefs have a lot of playmakers, but the lack of a solid quarterback is hurting them. McCluster gives you the option of playing him at the RB or WR spot, which is a huge plus.
This past week, McCluster had nine carries for 61 yards, as well as four receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown. His dynamic speed is what makes him dangerous, and he will continue to be a threat for opposing defenses for the rest of the season.
In the next few weeks, McCluster will take on the New York Jets, Green Bay Packers, Oakland Raiders and the Denver Broncos. None of those defenses haven been truly outstanding this season, which means McCluster is due for another big game.
McCluster is only owned in 20 percents of ESPN leagues and 37 percent of Yahoo! leagues.
