Tim Tebow: Tebow Is a Winner and It's Driving Us Crazy
Let's all admit it—we are all befuddled by Tim Tebow.
His ratings are lousy, his mechanics need as much work as '72 Buick but through a combination of factors the Denver Broncos have gone 5-1 in games this season when Tebow has been the starter. Indeed, the Bronco brain trust must like what they see because they jettisoned Kyle Orton.
Orton won the starting job during training camp, then led Denver to a 1-4 record. Oops.

Still, Tebow is driving us crazy. We don't know what to do with him on the field or off. Indeed, when it comes to the latter consider this:
- He does not text pictures of his genitals.
- He doesn't get drunk in clubs or any other public place.
- He probably does not know what "making it rain" even means.
- He doesn't spend his off weeks romancing a celebrity.
- He does not use the third-person in his interviews.
- He did not demand to be drafted in the first round.
- He can't say enough good things about his teammates and their hard work.
- He has never asked fans to "let Tebow be Tebow."
- He doesn't say outrageous things in the media, then claim he was misquoted.
- He has never gotten into a brawl.
- He has never embarrassed himself, his family or his team on TMZ.
I could go on but by now you should have the picture. He's not a saint but he does appear to be a nice guy who has some athletic skills, a Heisman Trophy, a couple National Championships on his resume and, as of today, a win-loss record most NFL teams wish they had over the last six games.
I don't know if the Broncos make the playoffs or if Tebow is a quarterback that can lead a team to a Super Bowl. But as much as we complain about the divas and thugs in pro sports can't we just enjoy the Tebow era?
