Turkey Day saw many of this week's elite fantasy options at the kicker position in action, and while a few had relatively decent outings, no kicker lit up the scoreboard Thursday.
That said I've gone back to the tea leaves to take another look at the remaining fantasy options at kicker for Week 12, and the following are the top handful of fantasy football feet left.
The loss of quarterback Matt Schaub is certainly a blow to the Houston Texans offense, but a few stalled offensive drives in opposing territory against the Jacksonville Jaguars could actually be a boon to the fantasy prospects of kicker Neil Rackers.
This weekend's clash between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles will likely feature plenty of offense, making Eagles kicker Alex Henery a much better fantasy option this week than his 13th-place ranking in fantasy points at his position might otherwise indicate.
New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski has been a relatively solid, if unspectacular fantasy option for much of this season, but hopefully the Eagles defense will be able to hold the Patriots to fewer extra points and a few more field goal attempts.
Kicker Sebastian Janikowski of the Oakland Raiders may well have the strongest leg in the National Football League, but the hamstring injury plaguing the 12th-year veteran makes him a bit of a risky fantasy play when the Raiders host the Chicago Bears this week.
Fantasy football's fifth-ranked kicker in points scored, John Kasay of the New Orleans Saints is still getting it done in his 21st season in the NFL and has a top-10 fantasy matchup on tap when the Saints play host to the New York Giants Monday night.
