Are we going to see another 40-point performance from Detroit Lions running back Kevin Smith?
Will he be the feature back in the team's final surge toward the postseason?
I'd say so.
The Lions face the Packers' 12th ranked run defense next week, but overall, Detroit should be able to move the football at home.
Smith showed his ability to catch the football out of the backfield and make defenders miss in the open field in the win against Carolina. Future games against the Saints, Raiders and Chargers could also yield solid days for the former first-round draft pick. Grab him off that waiver wire.
Who else is a must-add this week?
Just when you thought Michael Crabtree had little to no fantasy value, he goes off for seven catches and 120 yards against the Cardinals.
Certainly the Ravens pose a more formidable threat for the 49ers this week, but Crabtree looks to be a more reliable target for Alex Smith, and Baltimore did allow nearly 375 yards through the air against Cincinnati.
Crabtree's real value will come into play when San Fran plays the Rams and the Cardinals again immediately following the Harbaugh Bowl.
There's a good chance someone in your league had Grant at the beginning of the year and has since dropped him.
With backfield mate James Starks going down with what the Packers are calling a knee sprain, time to get Grant on your roster.
The Lions run defense is ranked 28th in the league, allowing 134.7 yards per game.
Green Bay obviously loves throwing the football, but Grant could be in for a surprising game against Detroit on Thanksgiving.
